“Wake up in your cozy bed overlooking the slopes. Ski your heart out on their varied and very snowy terrain. Then soak in the hot tub and then have dinner with live music at James Moore Tavern. You don't have to stir from this site, everything is here. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking lot gets a LITTLE snowy, bring a shovel :-)”

“Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. ”

“It is a unique place with a lot of history behind it. It has a European feel, great food, things to do, and a caring staff and management since it remains family owned and operated business. Everywhere fresh flowers, mostly from the resort's own greenhouse, wonderful atmosphere, great views, and an upscale spa, sauna, and outdoor and indoor pools.”

“I was lucky to stay in the recently renovated part of hotel. the room was modern, clean and cleverly designed. I was far from the common areas but that was not a problem bc there was a enclosed bridge so I did not have to go outdoors. I enjoyed the hot tub. The continental breakfast was simple and good: pastries, yogurt and breads. Stowe Bowl had a fun vibe and the wings were very good. The staff was EXCELLENT - helpful and friendly. ”

“I was in Stowe last weekend and broke my shoulder so the next day I stopped by the Grey Fox inn to ask the if they could please cancel my reservation because of my accident. I was aware I had made the reservation through Expedia and was also aware that the cancelation date was over due. I explained the situation to the front desk girls (2) and both said I had to contact Expedia. I did, Expedia contacted the hotel and the hotel said no...I'm sure they double sold my room since they know I was not...

“I really enjoyed my stay at Field Guide Lodge. The living area is beautifully designed—spacious, stylish, and very comfortable. I especially loved the furniture and overall vibe.
