Lubeznik Center for the Arts Tours

I had been there excess 24 hours before they fixed my tv. The tv was not working properly, and I was not able to stream. They advertise smart TVs and full streaming. When I called for assistance the guy came later in the evening, and told me I would not be able to stream, download google chromecast, and if that didn't work, to call the front desk back. It did not work, and I called the front desk again, and the man said he would send someone else up. No one ever came. The next morning, I tried again, and it would not work. I began to feel like a prisoner and was forced to leave the room. Upon return, I tried the tv again, and it did not work. I called the front desk again to explain my issue, and spoke with Pedro. He told me that I may have issues, and I explained to him how frustrating this began to make me on my trip. He told me to watch the tv that they offer, which was basic cable, then told me he would give me a $50 credit. After sitting for a while, I called back cause there was no way I could sit here another day with limited basic. So, I called back and asked for a supervisor. Pedro said the supervisor was not available and he told me I could stay a night at another one of their resorts, or I could just leave. I told him I was visiting from out of town and had nowhere to go on this 4th of July weekend; and you are kicking me out? He eventually sent someone who looked at the tv, and said a cable was missing from the back. He fixed the tv.

Room was beat up. Had a lot of mold on the ceiling in the shower. Reported to staff but they did nothing. Tried to use the gym but had no access to water. They have these water stations they’re supposed to refill but they all were empty. It’s not a nice hotel. Definitely not 4 stars. Much better available in Chicago for the money.

Room was very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful
