โI am very satisfied with the hotel:
+ friendly staff
+ very close to supermarkets and restaurant
+ comfortable bed and pillows
+ mini bar (empty), coffee machine and kettle in the room
+ good quality of breakfast (4 types of bread, meats, cheese, yoghurt, cereals, hard boiled eggs)
+ quiet neighbourhood
I have two small concerns:
- Sound isolation between rooms is not perfect, I could clearly hear the TV from the neighbour room.
- Mini bar is plugged to a normal socket, so it switches off when...

โBest thing about this place is the convenience and the lounge area you can stay in after checkout! Room was tiny and cute and had everything I needed , comfy bed and blankets!โ
โThe hotel was good. It was easy to check in and check out. They set up an airport shuttle for us to leave, however, we were not able to set up one for our arrival. The surrounding area had many good restaurants and even a top-rated bakery just outside.โ
โLocated close to the Messeplatz was very good as there are several tram services available making it easy to get around Basel.

The stay was good value and met all our requirements. The room was clean and in good order. The bathroom was also good as was the shower. Bed was comfortable, don't remember any issues. Door felt secure to lock.
The air con was effective, a little gurgly but I'll take it to keep cool! The windows also still open for fresh air.
