“The location is safe. It was clean, the breakfast was ok. Maybe work on parking space”

“There’s definite room for improvement here. Our room wasn’t cleaned to a good standard the bathroom had stains, and the bedding felt old (we unfortunately encountered bed bugs). The TV wasn’t working, and the door system was unreliable, often requiring extra effort to get in. Food was on the pricey side for what was offered, and while the room includes a stove, it would help to have basic utensils and drinking water provided given the rates charged. The location and staff had potential, but...

“The accommodation was comfortable and affordable, while the breakfast can be an interchangeable especially when persons are spending a number of days.”

The moment I arrived and checked in they demanded more money and told me they wouldn’t honor the price I found on this website! Apparently it was my fault that they forgot to take the promotion down! What a scam and completely unprofessional! Then they had only one key to the room and I had to leave my key with them and I’d come back and I wouldn’t have a towel, bath mat, or toilet paper in the room! Then one day I left the...

“There are two Kakwele Lodges. The one we stayed at was further from the airport in a back street of Lusaka, about a 20 minute drive. We were charged $15 for each of the 4 journeys to and from the airport, which I considered to be excessive. The room at the lodge was adequate, but a little cramped (especially the shower). Lighting was dim with no bedside or desk light. There were broken loose tiles around the small pool. Service was friendly but less than prompt. Although we had only one of...
