โcareful of the sugar/black ants, unavoidable but definitely no open food in the room and will be fine, they don't bite at least.
other than that it was great. nice and quiet and a good escape from the city for a while. island hopping was reasonably priced and shorter boat ride away compared to other resorts. diving courses and tours offered for both novice and experienced divers which are excellent.โ
โI stayed here while diving with Pirate Divers. There is a dive shop associated with the resort but I did not use it. Picked up every morning from the dock to go diving. โ
โWe found paradise here. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Place was exceptionally clean and the views are picturesque. I could have just sat out at the balcony overlooking the bay for days. At night it has a Lake Cuomo feel. Very serene, just like the name says. Serenityโ
โDue to flight cancellations, we checked in the morning of our check out date. We were still welcomed regardless and we were able to have our complimentary brekky and a decent lie down until it was time for us to move hotels. โ
โGreat staff! I decided to try out some hostels for this solo travel trip and Iโve come to the conclusion hostels arenโt really for me, but I would definitely stay at The Outpost again because of the staff.
If you enjoy the hostels experience or traveling in a budget, then definitely hit up The Outpost. โ

โItโs the warmth and friendliness of the staff that make the place stand out from others. The hotel itself is comfortable, food is good. The only cons I would say is the walk from the reception to your room. If it rains, the ground is slippery but they put a rubber rag to walk in. You only have to make sure to walk on it. All in all, our stay is one of the most comfortable places so far.โ
