“This is a stunning hotel in the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor. The hotel offers a boat across to the east bank whenever you need it, which is super convenient. It is full of charm and the staff are lovely. The swimming pool is great and breakfast is plentiful. We stayed in the Lapis room which was lovely although the bed is small and quite hard! There may be other rooms with larger beds…? The formidable Marina runs the place and she’ll tell you her fascinating life story. Note the hotel...

“My stay at the Nile Compound Hotel was amazing! The hotel is a garden oasis surrounded by the beautiful farmland of Luxor. I could not have picked a better place to stay. Mr Yousef and the rest of the staff were spectacular! Mr Yousef arranged my transportation to several sites and always made sure I was enjoying myself. “Struttura molto bella e curata con un bel giardino ed una rilassante piscina. Le stanze sono ampie con terrazzino. Noi avevamo all inclusive e ci siamo trovati bene. Tutti molto gentili e servizievoli. Il WiFi funziona solo in reception. Colazione varia con omelette fatte al momento e succo all ibiscus fatto da loro. Si arriva con una passeggiata di un quarto d ora o con tuk tuk all imbarco delle barche che portano sull altra riva del Nilo. Consigliatissimo”
