“We love the White Rabbit, the staff are all incredibly friendly and the family rooms are a perfect size for me, my wife, daughter and dog. It’s a perfect base to explore the New Forest. We have been a couple of times now and not disappointed in anything. After a long day exploring, walking or riding it’s great to come back to a place with decent food and a good selection of beer!! Highly recommend”

“For the very reasonable price we paid we can't complain! A good stopover for 1 night, but I wouldn't choose to stay for more than that. Parking was a big bonus. Bedding and towels were clean, but the room and pub itself could do with a good clean.”

“I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over.”

“Room was basically clean bedding very fresh. Bathroom mouldy and missed soap deposits in bottom of shower. Shower rail broken and unable to take out of holder. Shower intermittently cold and scalding hot. Unable to shower properly and unable to shower the toddler after a hot and dusty day out. Parking so limited upon returning after our festival at 10.45 pm unable to park with a very tired toddler in tow. Tried to find a member of staff which took me a further 15 mins. On a positive note...

“Very tired decor- mouldy shower/ bathroom. Strong smell of disinfectant, exposed wiring on lights. Needs refurbishment.”
