“Great location - walking distance to town centre for shops and restaurants and cafes - short drive to beach. Had a takeaway from the Thai restaurant - very good Accommodation was very comfortable and hosts very friendly. Breakfast was put out for us to help ourselves in the pottery shop each morning and was a good start to the day with fresh fruit and croissants. Reliable WiFi we were able to watch Wimbledon with no problems. All in all a delightful stay and would definitely stay again.”

“Very underwhelmed by our stay. We had room 122 for 4 nights. Bed was terrible - old and sunken, really uncomfortable. Battled spiders nightly. The worst was the shower - understanding that the hotel is really old and plumbing is tricky- we had zero water pressure unless the water was scorching hot. Like burn your skin hot. We notified the front desk but that was as far as it went. Thankfully the weather wasn’t hot - no fans or much air circulation with the small windows. The staff was friendly,...

“The room was excellent. My only disappointment was the lack of continental breakfast on offer. Luckily, I mentioned that I wanted a continental breakfast on arrival, and two croissants were provided. Hosts very pleasant.”

“Rooms were very nice and comfortable. We had to leave at 7.30 so could not have breakfast as service started at 8am. Pub part felt soulless and having to sit and drink whilst staff have finished their shift and were chatting to working staff spoilt the quiet atmosphere. To me it felt overpriced for the product we received”

“Hotel was very good, among the best we have stayed in recently. Nicely decorated, clean and tidy. Facilities were great. Stayed in room 121 which was again, very good. Only downside was the bed was too hard and uncomfortable, otherwise in-room facilities were great. Loved the retro radio. ( a safe and fridge might be nice?) Note:, no Aircon, just desk fans.
