“Our stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. All completely clean and functional...

“Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. Highly recommended. ”

“The location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus. ”

“We Usually stay in hotels, but decided to stay in a guest house this time. Got to say we were really impressed with Chester house. It was very clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, (in both here and their sister property, Chester court hotel, next door), and the included breakfasts were excellent. In addition, it was great to have ample free parking on site The location is also very convenient for Chester city centre and also to nearby Hoole village,...

“Met host on arrival. Was really nice and helpful. Lovely house and having the hottub was amazing. Good area with links to Manchester on public transport. Was here for business but house made it so much more comfortable than living in a hotel. ”
