“Lovely self contained property, in beautiful position right on the Syndale Valley trail and 2 miles from Doddington Gardens, well worth a visit. Property contained every facilitiy required, bath and walk in shower, plentiful hot water and comfy bed. Breakfast produce left for first morning which was a lovely touch, hosts very good, there but not too intrusive - a wonderful stay.”

The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. “This is a lovely place to stay. Stuart greeted us on arrival and the Loft was warm and cosy with everything we needed including a basket of treats and eggs for breakfast. There are lovely views of the grounds and countryside. Nice walks from the property and Rye is close by car. Would thoroughly recommend. ”
