Bra service og hyggelig betjening. Enkel frokost, men kjempe god middag. Sengene/madrassene kunne med fordel ha vært byttet ut. Dørene til rommene lager mye støy da de må dras hardt igjen for å klare å lukke dem ordentlig.

Stede er fra den gamle tiden og har fasiliteter fra den tid. Mottagelse og betjening er meget huggelig og du vil følr deg vel mottatt. Stedet anbefales virkelig hvis du liket litt nostalgi.

We loved the quirkiness of the building and its furnishings. There are a few worrisome bulges in the floor, but the building is old. Our bed was basically two wood framed twin beds pushed together, so it wasn't too cozy. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

A wonderful place to stay

A most beautiful hotel, whose interior takes you back a century. A very cosy atmosphere and a timeless experience. Very friendly and helpful staff (even in perfect German). Very good breakfast. Fast internet available.

Det borde framgå att det bara fanns en toalett och dusch till 10 st dubbelrum på övervåningen , det andra badrummet med toalett låg en trappa ner bredvid receptionen . Stor besvikelse,Borde upplysas i hotellbokningen. Inga sänglampor på rummet . Mycket märkligt . Bör också upplysas att frukost inte serverades innan kl. 9.0 på lördagar.

Skuffende fordi vi var ikke oppmerksom på at vi måtte dele bad/toalett med andre. Felles bad på gangen. Dette kom ikke tydelig fram ved bestilling på nettet.

Hotell i særklasse

Ett opphold på Paulsens Hotell er en fantastisk reise tilbake i tid. Fra man setter foten på innsiden til man sjekker ut igjen føler man seg hjertelig velkommen. Rommene både med og uten egne bad er koselige og innredet med gamle møbler som hotellet forøvrig. Servicen på hotellet er også i særklasse, her møter du både drivere og ansatte som virkelig vet og by på seg selv. Vi spiste middag med dessert på hotellet og både smaken og presentasjonen var flott. Det hele ble toppet med kjelekokt kaffe som smakte himmelsk. Prisen var det heller ikke noe å si på. Om kvelden var det karaoke i restauranten og det ble en hyggelig opplevelse. Etter en god natts søvn smakte det veldig godt med en lang frokost. Hyggelig å bli servert frokost som var laget for hver og en gjest og med den samme herlige kjelekaffen ble det en god start på søndagen. Synd at driverne av hotellet skal gi seg, men om konseptet fortsetter vil vi garantert komme igjen.
