“Great beer and bar staff that were very friendly and knowledgeable ”

“Room could have been cleaner dust/dirt/cobwebs spotted in corners. Check in could be improved... A sign or signs would help, I was left hanging around the bar to ask about c/in the bar staff then pointed me to someone who was busy taking a long food order, they then eventually directed me to someone else who then said they were busy and I would need to wait for them... I found this irritating and poor customer service... I understand that they were busy but so was I... On leaving I had to...

“The family rooms more like an apartment were excellent. Everything you needed in the room including dvds for the kids. The host was brilliant and locals in the bar were welcoming. The location and setting lovely. Would recommend to stopping here”

“Traditional pub building in the middle of a village. The bar was full of local people having a good time but no noise made it through to the bedroom due to very thick walls. Nice room, clean, huge bed plenty of indirect lighting and enough power points. New en suite bathroom. Very friendly but unobtrusive staff. Excellent full English breakfast.”
