Rooms were larger than others we stayed at in Europe. Room was clean, staff was friendly and it was located in what felt like a quiet safe neighborhood. If you’re looking to spend lots of time in Old Lyon or City Center you’d be better off choosing a hotel closer to that area.

Very clean, comfortable, spacious, new. Closer to the center of town than it appears from maps. 10 minute walk to Metro, 5 minutes to bus and bakery. Only drawback is that there is nothing less than a 5 minute walk away. Highly reommended...

A few days in Lyon

I thought this perfectly adequate, more than that if I’m honest. Okay, it’s not in the city centre but it’s easy to navigate to from either Perrache or Part Dieu. There’s an Italian restaurant a minute’ walk with other options a 5 minute walk including Columbus for coffee. There’s also a Picard close by as well as many VeloV stations if you wanted to take a bike. Cyclists do seem to be respected and feels less dangerous than in the U.K.. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who in particular didn’t want a city centre hotel or even maybe those whose budgets don’t extend to that, this is absolutely perfect!!

When we arrived, we entered into an air-conditioned lobby. This was a big relief, as it was incredibly hot outside. Unfortunately, once we got to our room, we found out that supposedly the air conditioning was broken. When we asked what was wrong with the air-conditioning, we were told that a technician might be fixing it in a few days, but they didn’t really know. There was also only a single luggage cart with a broken wheel. They had no other luggage card, and when we brought the broken wheel to their attention, they said a technician might get around to fixing it. Thus, we had two nights in an incredibly hot room, and the staff didn’t seem to really know how to make things much better. The cleaning lady, however, was absolutely fantastic.

A pleasant trip. The apartment is cleaned everything day and bed linen changed every 2 days which is rare for an appart:-hotel. The staff members are always at your disposal for your comfort

The only strange thing was that there was no barracade to the shower. I felt like it guaranteed the bathroom would be wet after every shower. The A/C also wasnt great.

Luckily, I got my room!

Mixed feeling. It was a crisis day (all trains were cancelled due to the tempest). I was happy to book it through Hotel.com but it appears that my room was also booked in parallel by phone... Finally, after 30' waiting I got the room (which is great) but in the discussion I felt like a bit guilty to have booked online. To summarize, nice hotel, lucky to have had a room but the welcoming in this crisis context was a bit akward.

The only good thing about the property is the suites can fit a lot of people. And the price is reasonable. But, the AC doesn't work. They moved us, and then wanted us toove a 3rd time to a different building when the 2nd room was too hot. Now, they'll tell you the room was cold by their standards, but if you're an American going from 90 degrees outside to 79 degrees inside is not functioning AC. They also charged my credit card twice. (The refunded the 2nd charge but this was after I told them I already paid and they insisted on taking my card again) The biggest issue is that the property doesn't care about the customer complaint They didn't understand why I didn't want to move rooms AGAIN. And they kept insisting I didn't deserve a discount because they provided 'good' service. The staff at the desk sucked. One girl literally tried to gaslight me into believing the broken AC was all in my head. She kept saying 'no one else has this issue', 'I was in the room and it was working fine', treating me like I was crazy or a nuisance.... However there are a whole bunch of reviews on the property saying what I'm saying. I wish I read them before booking and I never would've picked this property. They did give me a small refund for the first room, but only after heated arguments back and forth. 10/10 would NOT recommend

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel in occasione del mio compleanno. La struttura si trova in una zona periferica di Lione, ma il centro è raggiungibile in circa 20 minuti grazie ai mezzi pubblici: metro, tram e bus si trovano a soli 5 minuti a piedi, mentre il supermercato più vicino (Auchan) dista circa 8 minuti. Abbiamo scelto il monolocale superior: l’arredamento era molto piacevole e abbiamo trovato utile la presenza della cucina e del bollitore durante il nostro soggiorno. Purtroppo, però, la mia esperienza non è stata delle migliori. Poco dopo il nostro arrivo, la seconda luce del bagno ha smesso di funzionare e mi sono ritrovata costretta a truccarmi quasi al buio. Inoltre, il giorno successivo, al rientro in camera abbiamo trovato l’asta della doccia crollata. Abbiamo segnalato tutto alla reception, ma il personale si è limitato a dirci che, prima di lunedì (giorno della nostra partenza), non sarebbe stato possibile intervenire. Ho trovato questo atteggiamento poco corretto, soprattutto perché non è sembrata esserci alcuna reale intenzione di trovare una soluzione. Aggiungo che, avendo viaggiato spesso per il mio compleanno, in altre strutture a quattro stelle ho sempre trovato almeno un biglietto di auguri o un piccolo omaggio in camera, gesto semplice ma molto apprezzato. Capisco che si tratta di un hotel economico ma manca completamente di attenzione al cliente.
