We really enjoyed our stay. We felt sometimes they needed more staff on especially in the world cafe for drinks and looking after tables. Staff on were very helpful though Room did have an ant issue but they kept on top of cleaning to do as much as possible. Restaurants were lovely. Very clean everywhere staff were on top of it all the time. Nice chilled entertainment on an evening and fun during the day

Great location and architecture. Lots of room options. Generous 'all-inclusive' offering. Music far too loud at main pool. Discarded Food outside next door's room was left for >12 hours before collection despite prompt. Food options are great...IF YOU CAN GET BOOKED IN. We had several messages from Hyatt prior to arriving, asking if we wanted to select a specific room...It would have been far more useful if they had asked us what restaurant we wanted to book for our first 2 nights...there was no availability when we checked in.

Good: facilities, overall clean, rooms were large and private, pool was well maintained. Ocean access, did not feel too busy always had access to beach loungers. Not so good: questionable service, a lot of inconsistentencies with wrong items being served, bar and buffet staff were dismissive with minor questions or requests. Room service was not ok on both attempts. Major food allergens were wrongly labeled in the buffet and often had labels turned around and did not have any information on the items being served.

We were celebrating my parents 49th wedding anniversary and they ensured we celebrated well. It was difficult booking the à la carte restaurants but once that was arranged we had a wonderful time. Our villa was beautiful and well appointed. The staff really can’t do enough for you; thank you for a wonderful stay. Hughes family

We arrived at night so we could not see the beauty of this resort. After a very long and difficult trip to arrive at the resort, our first impression was how wonderful and helpful the staff was. We were upgraded to the most beautiful villa. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel arranged for a private room at the most popular restaurant. They made our anniversary dinner very special. The attention was unmatched and truly appreciated. The resort is truly amazing for those who enjoy excellent food, quiet moments, hiking, ocean activities. The city of Funchal is a 30min ride but worth it. Lots to do and see. We will definitely return but plan on spending a longer period of time to get to enjoy everything the resort and Madeira have to offer.

The location was beautiful. The rooms a cleanliness of the hotel was good. Staff were friendly but not very organised or knowledgeable which was a little frustrating at times.

This was the most spectacular resort we have stayed at. The staff was friendly, the room was spotless, the beach was stunning! We were so happy to see a variety of spots to each. We look forward to coming back again! What a wonderful vacation we had.
