"Surrounding special natural resources, as beautiful beach, gardan,wild forest. The lemurs come to just behind the bangarows! And owners and staff are warmly care every guest. And foods are awesome especially seafoods. We need to take a boat to reach and it's relly good excursions. I wish I would've stay longer, actually I was there only two nights. They have many tours to enjoy your stay. The transportation to the airport was 20 EUR."

"What an incredible find in Madagascar. While the property is older, it has the most incredible setting. Booking a superior room is absolutely worth it for the mountain-front views and electricity at all hours. The room itself is massive - the photos online do not do it justice. The bed has a clever mosquito net surrounding the whole "bed room" so you can still move within the net and use the nightstands. The room also has A/C which was fantastic. Didn't even sleep with the curtains closed in...

"Petit hotel trés agréable à Nosy Be. Les bungalows sont trés jolis et agréables. Point fort, la piscine, qui est grande et belle, extrêmement agréable aprés une journée de balade dans Nosy Be. "I had the unfortunate situation when my Land Cruiser broke down in the challenging roads in Madagascar. I called Expedia but they were not much help. Expedia told the only way they could cancel was for them to contact the hotel. Knowing the challenges with calls in Madagascar, I told Expedia I would call myself as I am here in the country. Sandra answered right away and after I explained my situation told me she would consult with Oliver, the property manager the next day as it was almost 10 pm....

"We spent a week here (June 2025). It's a quaint little property, right on the beach. The rooms, food, atmosphere and staff were all excellent. Again, it is small (12 rooms I think) but very interesting. Henri and Annick are excellent hosts. "

"Très beau lodge Logement de qualité Mais la cuisine est médiocre et surtout les portions pour anorexiques !! Je citerai en autre un dessert avec une banane de 10 cm de long sur2 de large avec une micro boule de glace !! Quelqu’un fait des économies sur la nourriture Par ailleurs alors qu’ils répondent par mail que l’on peut régler facilement en carte bleu ils imposent une taxe de 3, 5 % en plus sans prévenir avant !!! "Famata lodge was a great stay for a couple of nights. If you are doing the RN7 and want to stay close to the airport, this place may be for you. They upgraded us from the Hemingway to the Eau-La-La which worked great for our family. Lots of sitting space. The pool is nice and relaxing. For dinner, they made vegetarian options for me that were interesting and enjoyable to eat. "
