Excellent hotel.

Excellent hotel in a lovely neighborhood. The rooms and beds were comfortable with excellent amenities. The hotel is within walking distance of the Bilbao metro. There is a beautiful plaza Olavides a block away with lots of restaurants.

Excellent Madrid hotel

Very nice hotel, central Madrid location and on a quiet street. Clean, comfortable, and helpful friendly staff. We would both recommend and return.

Very nice!

The stay was pleasant. The staff were very kind. The room was very large and clean. While the decor is a little bit dated, it doesn’t take away much from the stay. The room could get a little stuffy and warm, but the air conditioner was in winter mode so I had to keep the door open more than I would have liked because it’s Madrid which can be a bit loud. I also feel like the breakfast was far too expensive for what was offered. All in all, however, I would stay there again.

Recomendado.

Optamos por desayunar en el hotel y fué una buena decisión. El Buffet es variado y delicioso. El detalle extra es que la señora a cargo del desayuno prepara un delicioso café. Además, nos guardaron las maletas más grandes mientras recorriamos otros países de Europa y Reino Unido. La ubicación es adecuada. Agradecidos con el detalle por el cumpleaños de mi esposa.

Esta es la tercera vez que nos alojamos en este hotel a lo largo de los años. A destacar la atención del personal de recepción. Se nota inmediatamente la amabilidad. Nos han dado todo tipo de buenas recomendaciones para comer en restaurantes, tapas y lugares que visitar en la ciudad. Ubicación buena (muy cerca del metro) y se puede caminar perfectamente hasta Plaza Colón en 25 m. Interesante el barrio Chamberí donde está situado el hotel y la arquitectura de la zona. Barrio más tranquilo.

Die Lage in Madrid ist ausgezeichnet. Man erreicht alles sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder zu Fuß. Wir hatten ein Zweibettzimmer bestellt, bekamen ein 3 Bettzimmer. Dadurch war das Zimmer sehr beengend. Die Betten waren nicht wie abgebildet schön mit Tagesdecke bezogen sondern nur mit weißen Laken ohne Decke. Machte ingesamt einen ungemütlichen Eindruck. Der Geräuschpegel von den anderen Zimmern war sehr hoch, besonders wenn das Nebenzimmer verlassen wurde, knallten die Türen sehr laut, bedingt durch den Schließmechanismus der Türklinke.

Disappointing 4 star hotel

Not sure who gave out the stars, but this is a far cry from a 4 star hotel! Old dated decor, spotty internet, creepy linen and the list goes on
