The breakfast had the same items every day, very limited healty options, you can find better options chepper outside the hotel, not worth the money. Some rudenes from the older the staff, the young were nice, the areea is safe and very close to the metro.

Front of house staff were very helpful throughout. Housekeeping was at a very good standard over both rooms. The room was a good standard and very spacious, only thing I would suggest is a change to the TV settings to allow them to connect to the internet to access Netflix and You Tube.

We loved the hotel! Excellent location, very comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, and very great service! … the only thing that makes me put 4 stars was the bathroom, a bit difficult to get in the tub and it splashed all the water to the floor because of the configuration. Even thought I love it and will stay again here when I come back.

We had an excellent stay at Room Mate Mario. The check-in process was seamless and the staff was incredibly accommodating. We arrived early and, although our room wasn’t ready yet, they gave us a clear timeline of one hour and provided a great recommendation for a local brunch spot nearby. True to their word, the room was ready exactly an hour later. The location is absolutely perfect, it’s very close to Gran Vía, but tucked away enough that it isn't chaotic. It felt very quiet and safe at all times. If you are driving, there is a public parking garage very close by which made logistics easy. The room itself was very clean. We did experience a brief power interruption during our stay, but it was an issue with the local area, not the hotel itself. I was very impressed with how the hotel handled it; they notified us immediately when the power went out and followed up right away to check on us once it was back on. Great communication and a wonderful stay overall!

The staff was amazing. My wife and I have been to Madrid a few time. On this trip we thought we would step out of our comfort zone and try new places. We so happy we pick this spot. The staff and their ability to speak different languages made communication so easy. They were so helpful they really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. From the warm welcoming to the little gifts in the room to giving advice on new places to eat. We will definitely stay here again and this might possibly be the only place we ever stay.
