Excellent 3.5 star business hotel

Cleaning was done on 3-day cycle (apart from daily towels and yukata replacement) which is excellent for eco-friendliness. The onsen and sauna were clean and very well maintained. Location is right next to JR Takasaki station and close to all major shops and eating places.

Close to the train station but… choose another hotel. Check-in process to 20 min after reading our passports multiple times and multiple trying to work the automatic kiosk. Room was not clean and a step up to the bathroom. Trim was fastened with tape to the wall. Breakfast was very enjoyable with many local specialties.

Great stay and easy to get to hotel. Room shows wear and tear, but it’s not their fault. Us travelers need to be more aware and take better care of the rooms.

The staff were able to help me find an international ATM nearby and were happy to do so.The hotel is literally next to the station. Also, the area is really nice walk around with great parks and easy to access medicines and konbini. There is a bus stop next to the station with a bus that can take you directly to Shirakawa-go :)

Horrible service, very smelly room and hallway. Dishonest information about breakfast booking and cancellation. Due to take the airport bus at 6am, was unable to have breakfast, but non-refundable, even informed the hotel in advance three days.

Busy hotel, room was just as described. However, our room had a distinct smell that I cannot describe. Throughout the entire night, there was water running through the pipes sound, intermittently, which really distributed our sleep.
