Main Street, Whistler hotel rooms at the Independent

"AWesome staff! Cleaning ladies were great but the hotel needs an renocation. Perfect location. Spacios rooms. Just needs to have an update. Also, kids were taking over the gym. Not great or safe"

"Nice clean room and all the necessities of a small kitchenette. Underground parking was convenient. Location is great and close to all the restaurants and shops in Whistler Village. Staff were welcoming and friendly. "

"This place has a lot of potential and has a great location but unfortunately it fell through on various fronts. There was a hot tub and pool advertised in the photos of the listing, but upon arrival we found out it’s been closed for renovation through the winter and indefinitely. Should not have had the false advertising, we were celebrating a bachelorette and the bride looked forward to that hot tub and relaxation. Our room had some cleanliness flaws like a ketchup chip left on the floor, pillows that didn’t have cases or had stains on them for the living room set, a left over charger from the group before, and only 3 towels for a group of 4. There was also only shampoo and when we messaged about conditioner we never heard back. The doorknobs were also all falling off. I mentioned all of this to the desk on the way out and he said he would contact the project managers who would be in touch and they have not reached out or showed any concern for our groups experience. "
