좋은 위치, 인터넷 느림, 무료 아침
위치는 매우 좋아서 모스크 바로 앞, 야시장 100미터 근방이다. 강변과도 가깝다. 아침도 제공되고 하루종일 커피도 뽑아마실수 있는 편의성이 있어 매우 좋았다. 하지만 방안에 나프탈렌 냄새가 많이 났고 전체 적인 분위기는 정갈하지 못하고 인터넷이 매우 느리다.

위치가아주좋았습니다 존커스트릿1분 한블록 호텔수준의시설이라고 하긴 어렵습니다 직원들은 친절했고 궁금한점들도 잘설명해주었습니다 한국인 사장님은 아니었고 주인은 로컬로 바뀐듯합니다 시설대비 가격이 저렴하다고 생각하진 않습니다 로비에 항상 커피와 음료가 준비되어있습니다 같은라인에 호스텔이 많습니다 전반적인 사항은 만족 스러웠습니다

정말 친절하시고, 저희가 7:30버스를 타야해서 일찍 서두르는데 새벽5시에 일어나셔서 조식을 만들어주시는 감동서비스까지.. 정말 따뜻하고 편안한 숙소 였습니다. 저희가 캐리어가 무거워서 계단을 오르지 못하니 사람을 불러 올려다 주신다고 하셨는데 조금 있다가는 1층에 룸을 마련해 주셨어요.. 정말 위치도 좋고 맛집도 바로 옆이고 숙소맞은편이 사원이고.. 정말 강추하는 숙소입니다^^

다시 가고싶은 친절하고 깔끔한 호텔
저렴한 호텔이라 별 기대 안하고 갔는데, 기대 이상이었습니다. 커피,차가 늘 로비에 준비되어있고 정수기를 하루종일 무료로 이용할 수 있었습니다. 객실이 조금 오래 되었다고 생각할 수는 있지만 정말 깔끔하고 좋아요!!! 객실에는 커다란 수건 두 개와 생수 두 병이 준비되어있었습니다. 세면도구는 없었고 드라이기는 요청하면 주세요. 침구도 깔끔하고 침대도 편했어요. 천장에 ceiling fan이랑 에어콘이 리모콘으로 조절이 가능해서 좋았어요. 안되는 호텔도 종종 있어서.. 위치는 존커워크랑 이어지는 골목 바로 옆이라 접근성이 좋았습니다. 또한 더치 스퀘어까지 3분, 쇼핑몰까지 10분, 말라카 센트럴로 돌아가는 버스정류장까지 5분이라 정말 편했습니다. 자전거를 무료로 빌려주지만 필요가 없었습니다. 이른 아침에도 늦은 저녁에도 관광객들이 주변에 있어서 골목길이지만 무섭지도 않았어요. 직원분들도 늘 웃는 얼굴로 친절하게 대해주셔서 기분 좋았습니다. 다음에 말라카에 또 오게된다면 다시 가고싶네요. 주변 사람들이 간다고하면 추천해주고 싶어요^^

All day biscuits and coffee was a nice touch and was handy when you needed a break from waking around in the heat. Rooms are reasonably sized. Try to get a room away from the road otherwise you'll be listening to the trishaws until midnight.

場所は最高です。繁華街に近いけど、静かに過ごせます。トイレと風呂が共用なので、それに抵抗無ければ、とても良いとおもいます。

We had a room at the back next to the kitchen. The sounds from the kitchen making breakfast at 6am were very loud. The room had no windows and smelled like mould. The step up to the toilet was done with two loose bricks, quite the trip hazard! Staff was very nice, gave us mosquito spray to use and directions to the best restaurant we ate at in Malacca. Good coffee machine, great breakfast and a nice little area to sit and read.

Room condition was questionable, air conditioner had a few point machine attached to it which beep constantly throughout the night, very annoying. Bathroom and toilet lights were broken.

The hotel is in a good location, it has all day free tea coffee, cereal, biscuits and toast. The room and bedding were clean. Little dark and plain, it has air conditioning and a fan, both are required to keep the temp down. Mosquitoes are and issue though, it too hot to cover yourself with bedding and if you don’t you get bitten to death! Lots of insect repellent req.

観光エリアからすぐ近くに位置するのでロケーションは最高。 ただ、宿泊した部屋のクーラーが古く、かなり大きい音（作動音ではなく内部で部品同士がこすれているような音）がして、眠れなくなったため、やむを得ずクーラーを止めました。結果、暑くてよく眠れませんでした。 また、ロビー・部屋に蚊が多くいたのもマイナスです。

Good location
The staff of the hotel (Mr Nazir) was excellent in checking us in ... Very kind and courteous.. The room was very clean, (Room 6) but the aircon was quite noisy, noisy enough to disturb an otherwise peaceful sleep. The pillows were too high n a bit of a pain to d neck. All other amenities, like hot shower, continuous supply if coffee tea , cookies etc etc was par excellent. Worth every dollar spent on this hotel...

Great stay
It was great staying at Hotel Da Som Inn. It's a very short walk to Jonker Street and there's a famous dim sum shop just 2 units away. I requested for the staff to decorate the room as it was near my fiance's birthday. The staff did a great job in decorating the room. There is also free flow drinks 24/7. However, we were unable to receive wifi in our room and have to go to the recept area to tap on wifi. We will like to thank the staff for the memorable stay. Thank you!

Great staff, good location!
We had the most pleasant stay at Da Som Inn. Staff was extremely nice and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Good breakfast + complimentary tea/coffee and biscuits throughout the day. Nice clean rooms, although a bit worn out. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend!
Took a Grab to this place and driver was able to locate as it was opposite a Mosque. Entrance was recognizable too. Great location as it was walking distance to all eating outlets and night market. It was evident the condition of the rooms were well maintained. toilets clean. Warm welcome from the staff and complementary breakfast and refreshments. Has a comfortable ambiance to chill in after a day of exploring.

Bed bug infestation and terrible staff attitude
We selected this hotel because of the good reviews and the location. However, we were severely disappointed. Within an hour of going to bed, I woke up to find bites on my body. It was past midnight, and I went out to look for staff to get insect repellent and medication, thinking that it was mosquito bites. I found Mr Tan, whom I believe is the proprietor, and showed him the bites. He said it was not mosquito bites, and handed me some bug spray. I returned to the room, where I then found bed bugs crawling on my bed and my friend's bed. I woke her up and we killed two bed bugs, which had blood when we killed them. Mr Tan returned to our room and I showed him the bed bugs. He offered to take us to another room. As it was really late, we didn't think we could find another hotel. We didn't see any bed bugs in the new room, but we couldn't sleep from worrying about the bed bugs and the bites were really itchy and swollen. Early next morning, we checked out (even though we had booked a two-night stay), as we wanted to find a hotel that was bed bug free for a peace of mind. We expressed our concern that bed bugs can spread really easily, but Mr Tan was very blase about the bed bugs. He said that if we were frequent travellers, we would be used to it. I asked for a receipt to show that I checked out early, but was denied it. I was told to contact Expedia for all my queries since I booked through Expedia. Fortunately, the amazing staff at Expedia were really helpful and understanding.

Good location.
The hotel is located in the center, good location to walk to the popular restaurants and night market. The receptionist and owner are helpful and friendly, but housekeeper is not. When I was in room and found the rest room with much dirty, ask him to clean , I recieved the bad manner, he frown his face and impolite reaction to the guests.

Amazing Hospitality
My husband and I had booked a last minute trip up to Malacca and we got possibly the last room at Da Som Inn. We arrived way earlier than expected but the host was so gracious to allow us to check into our room. The room was simple but very clean. The entire hospitality team were so forthcoming from providing directions to recommendations and even provided ironing. The breakfast was a delight with cooked Asian dishes along with toast, eggs and hash potatoes. They provide coffee & biscuits 24/7 if you are feeling peckish. The location is spot on! you can walk all the way from Jonker Street - Christ Church - St Paul's Church and A'famosa in 30 to 40mins. Just perfect! #hoteldasominn
