It was really the best hotel I have ever stayed. Especially all staff were so kind and bright with happily smile and I thank you Encarnacion, Exec. Manager who helps me to provide the meeting room. The beautiful view and horizen seeing from hotel also was bring me very peaceful.

The view from bedroom is nice! Staff are kind and nice. The cost in bar was reasonable. Bedroom and bathroom was clean and good.

나름 괜찮은 호텔입니다
시내에서 조금 떨어져 있습니다. 그래도 호텔 바로 앞에 버스가 다녀서 괜찮습니다. 호텔말고는 아무것도 없습니다. 차가 있으면 괜찮은 호텔입니다.. 직원들도 친절하고 조식도 괜찮습니다.. 여기도 리조트라 밤에 조금 시끄러울 수 있으나 일출이 멋집니다

공항에서 아주 가깝고, 수영장과 바다가 좋으며, 객실도 넓고 쾌벅하여 편안하게 쉬어가기 좋은곳이다.

해변에서 가까운 오래된 호텔
말라가 도시에서 떨어진 변두리에 있는 호텔입니다. 해변이 바로 보이고, 호텔내에 괜찮은 야외 수영장이 있습니다. 객실 내부는 오래 되었고, 객실내에 있는 샴푸등은 그리 좋아 보이지 않습니다.

대부분 직원들은 친절했습니다.. 다만 프런트 여직원이 손님들한테 좀 무성의 하더군요... 물어보면 몰라몰라~~ 따뜻한 물 갖다달라니 알겠다고 하고 삼십분넘어도 안왔어요.. 전화도 안받고... 크리스마스이브라 저녁식사 가능한 호텔을 찾았었는데 일인당 18유로 부페였구요~ 맛있었어요^^* 수영장이 크리스마스 쉬는걸 미리 말 안해줘서 이용을 못해봤네요.. 주차 무료인건 좋았어요 5번버스타면 말라가 시내 갈수있어요

전체적으로 만족했던 호텔....말라가에서의 계획은 단지 휴식이었기에 조용한곳으로 검색해서 예약하였는데 조용한 분위기는 너무 마음에 들었음 단지 아쉬운건 객실에 커피포트가 없어서 컵라면을 못먹었던거...ㅠㅠ호텔 바로 앞에서 버스를 타면 도심으로 한번에 갈수있는점도 좋았음

객실내 가구들이 오래 되어서 작은 사고가 있었지만 직원들이 친절하게 처리해주었습니다. 수영장이 좋고 레스토랑 음식도 맛있습니다. 해변이 바로 옆에 있어 경치가 아주 좋았습니다.

제대로 쉬고 싶을 때 꼭 다시 한 번 찾고 싶은 곳
공항 근처 호텔을 찾다가 우연히 예약하게 되었는데요, 그냥 하루만 묵기 아까운 곳이었습니다. 시내에서 좀 멀긴 하지만 호텔 바로 앞에 시내로 진입하는 버스도 있고 직원들도 친절하고 시설도 좋아요. 공항 갈 때 택시비가 19유로 정도 나왔어요. 공항에서 가깝다고해도 택시비는 비싸더라구요 ^^;

It is a good hotel for kids. The kids program was really great. Special thanks to Hugo. However we found the hallways to be noisy with doors slamming. The beds were uncomfortable and small for two people. We barely slept. The AC worked but would blow right on our head. We had to turn it off at night but got really hot.

Good stay. Water takes several minutes to heat up but the hot water does work. Great view of the sea from my room and its tide washing in and out was very relaxing.

Beachfront with pools in nice residential neighborhood – quiet with wonderful view toward Malaga and the hills beyond. Although located near the airport, plane noise was not an issue. Many choices were offered at the wonderful breakfast and the staff were informative and helpful. The view is incredible – you could see cruise ships moving in and out of Malaga, and the room was very comfortable with a teapot with tea and decaf coffee! Outdoor pools closed early, and indoor pool required a swim cap. One issue – room doors closing was extremely loud. The taxi stop is at this hotel, so a 6 am ride was readily available. They even had coffee and pastries for us to go. Close to Malaga and Torremolinos by bus or taxi. About 15 minutes to the airport. Overall, it was a very nice stay at Sol Guadalmar Hotel.

The stuff was very friendly and helpful, especially Alejandra. She gave us all tourist information about Malaga and was very concerned abou all the details. We got extra bed also and an extra soft pillow. Breakfast buffet was great and diverse. Great location beside the Sea, fantastic view, close to Malaga centre, airport and many nearby places. Clean rooms and good room service.

The view and the sound of the waves! Upgrade to a frontal sea view, superior or not and you will enjoy a beachfront property, with no other tourist besides your fellow hotelmates. With that said, the hotel itself is old school and needs modern updates, badly. The furniture is rundown, the rooms lack Melia hotel brand normalizing like lotion in room, refrigerators that work, coffee makers and not just instant coffee with barely any creams and sugars. Just basic higher end AMENITIES YOU EXPECT FROM A MELIA PROPERTY! Also, no more room service available, bad move, because you can't even order food to go from the bar. So frustrating when you are on a dreamy vacations n and just want to ENJOY THE ROOM, wake up to coffee and breakfast or a late night cocktail/wine and some tapas on your sea view BALCONY. Plus, you don't always want to go have a buffet dinner or lunch and the VERY FEW bars that are walkable are only open short hours and sometimes not the best. The hotel should know that unlike their Melia Costa del SOL hotel where there are100s of food walkable food options. Hotel should offer better small meal options, not buffet for every meal. There's a HUGE mall about 5min drive with easy parking. It has every store known to man, loads of fast food if that is your thing. But we LOVE the rooms with the view and the sound of the waves as we sleep, so we just hope that one day soon the Melia people will do the very needed modernization of the rooms. (The lobby seems fine.)

It’s located right by the sea however there was nothing around it, if you wanted to eat somewhere else or do a shopping you need a transportation

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved how quiet it was. It was lovely to sleep with the slider open and listen to the waves. The breakfast was very good. They had plenty of good choices. I would recommend this hotel.

This place is absolutely awesome! The availability to the hotel's restaurant was ever present and the prices were better than competitive against restaurants in Malaga. There's a beautiful outdoor area around the pool (real grass) with lawn chairs and thatched. Cross a walkway (not a street) and you're on the beach. They have a gym and an indoor pool (that we didn't use) and a professional masseuse that we did use. Again, no gouging on the price of the massage< basically half of what you'd pay on a cruise ship. The floors are all marble, every floor, every room. The bed was comfortable and the tv had a couple channels in English that wasn't news. Finally, a HUGE thank you to Lucia. Lucia checked us in 6 hours after check in was supposed to happen...and that was the easy part. Immediately upon arriving at the Malaga train station, I used my credit card at the only ATM in the train station mall. We get in the cab and Master Card sends me a text that I'd just charged the remaining balance of my card. We get to the hotel and I'm livid and talking with MC and Lucia is watching this. I was so into trying to get my card fixed, I left my wife with Lucia to get our room. I was no fun to be around, but Lucia just made it better, and 5 minutes later the card was fixed, and all was good. We stayed 2 additional nights because of our experience with Lucia and the wonderful facility.

Salle de sport payante! 5 euros la "journée" (sachant qu'on y passe en générale que quelques heures à peine). Cetait l'une des raisons pour lesquelles javais choisi cet hotel. La salle n'ouvre aussi qu'a 10h, ferme et ne réouvre que quelques heures l'après-midi. Si on veut faire une seance tôt le matin pour ensuite sortir decouvrir la ville ce nest pas possible... En reveanche gros point fort le personnel qui est adorable et très professionnel.

The room was clean and the balcony and view was great. The staff were helpful with recommendations and the breakfast was filling. My only complaint would be that the room was very dark with no ceiling lights.

Don't book this hotel if you want to sleep. The staff are helpful, location convenient. But it's a dated property with no internal soundproofing whatsoever, every sound from neighbouring rooms and the corridors can be heard, even the squeak of the hinges of the wardrobes. I dread to think how awful sleep quality would be in a busy season with high occupancy.
