“I stayed here for 4 nights. My room(leisure suit) is on the 2nd floor and toilet is attached. This old traditional house/hotel is located between local houses and close to Komtar(shopping mall)and local market.(next to the police office) Core George town is walking distance but you can take any bus near the hotel to explore the interesting streets, even there's free bus every 30mins. It was very impressive to stay in the old house built of wood. I could read a book in the public living room...

“Located inside the labyrinth that was originally a fishing village built out over the water, but now has many home stays catering to tourists. We arrived on a Thursday and were the only people there for that night and were told it was quieter with the lack of Singaporean tourist due to border closure. By Friday night we noticed a lot more tourists in the area as well as at the home stay we were in. Xiang Holiday Home was perfect for us - at the furtherest extreme of the village with lovely ocean...

“호텔방중에 가장 낡고 오래된 방을 여행사(오존트래블 등)가 묶음 구매를 한뒤 판매하는 형태인듯 합니다. 그래서 호텔 기본 서비스(커피&티, 와이파이, 침구청결유지) 등이 잘 되어있지 않아요. 냉장고도 더럽고 이불에도 뭐가 많이 묻어있고, 벌레도 발견했습니다. 다만 위치는 정말 좋고, 고층에 페트로나스트윈타워도 보여서 전망하나는 좋아요. 근데 진짜 1박이어서 다행이었지, 다시는 묵고 싶지 않은 스위트에요. 이 서비스스위트의 주인은 수단 남자이고, 친절하긴 한데 왠지 부담스럽긴 합니다. 이백 링깃의 보증금을 우선 받아둡니다.”

“공항가기전 머물렀어요 직원들은 친절했고 방도 꺠끗하게 보였으나 침구류에 개미들이 막 돌아다녀요(아주 작은 개미들) 샤워기는 잘 나오나 배수가 잘 안돼요(제방만 그럴지도 몰라요..;;)”

“Village House is a restful haven. The rooms are charming and comfortable. The shared spaces are welcoming. And the pool is heavenly. Warm, friendly staff can't do enough for you. The location is a bit remote if you don't have a car. It's not too far from Sarawak Cultural Village, but you'll need a taxi/grab to eat anywhere else or explore the area. ”
