It was perfect. Staff was so kind and nice and the room was clean. Generally service was good. Specially it was the best breakfast I had ever eaten. Location is also good to look around MALE city because it is the center of MALE. You can find it easily. Eventhough I stayed there at 1 night, I was stongly impressed. So, If I have other plan to visit MALE, I will choose it again. :)

very kind and convenient hotel
We arrived at Male airport at very late night, they were waiting for me at the airport. Also next day they helped me to take a speedboat with cooperating with my next hotel. I feel it's really convenient and I was relieved. The breakfast is good enough for me, we fully enjoyed it.

저녁에 말레 도착이라 1박 지내고 들어간 호텔입니다. 도차콰 동시에 외교부 로밍문자때문에 살짝 겁 먹었는제 픽업과 서비스 친절하고 좋아 안전하게 느꼈어요. 조식도 간결하고 먹을만해요. 요거트가 와방 맛나요.ㅎ 럭셔리 리조트에 있는지금 말레호텔+투어와 리조트를 섞었으면 더 좋았겠다고 생각합니다. 아쉽..

넓고 깨끗하고 맛있는 음식이 있는 말레시티의 호텔!!
깨끗한 객실과 넓은 크기에 룸이 마음에 들었고, 직원들도 많이 친절하였습니다. 제일 마음에 들었던것은 저는 풀보드를 이용하였는데 레스토랑의 조식, 중식, 석식이 모두 맛있었습니다. 특히 양고기 스테이크는 정말 최고의 맛이었던것 같습니다.

MALE에서 가격대비 가장 훌륭한 호텔 / 3박을 함 / 이보다 상세한 설명은 없을 것임
한국 분들이 대부분 신혼여행으로 몰디브를 방문하실 때 비행시간으로 인하여, 최소 1박은 MALE에서 숙박을 하여야함 제 경우 여행으로 몇차례 몰디브를 방문한 경험이 있었는데, 그때는 리조트에 들어가기 위하여 숙박을 한터라, 공항 인근의 호텔을 이용하였음 / 가격은 저렴하나, 시설이 우수하지 않은 호텔들 이었습니다. 서머셋 호텔은 MALE의 가장 중심상업지역에 위치한 호텔로, 호텔의 위치는 허름한 골목에 있으나, 호텔 내부에 들어가면 놀라운 경험을 하게 됩니다. 우선 첫번째는 공항에 도착하면서 부터 시작됩니다. 공항에 도착하면서 호텔에서 마중나온 직원이 팻말을 가지고 기다립니다. 그리고 배편으로 MALE 시내로 이동시키는데, 일반적으로 뱃값은 USD1 그러나 이 모든 비용을 호텔측에서 부담해 줍니다. (기존에 머물렀던 공항인근 호텔들은 차량 픽업료로 1인당 USD6 을 부과하는 경우가 있었기에, 색달랐습니다.) MALE 도착 후 호텔에서 준비한 차량으로 호텔로 이동하는데, 이 비용 역시 무료 호텔 직원은 매우 친절하며, 저의 출국비행기시간 확인 후 호텔 체크아웃 시간을을 모두 확인하여, 가장 적합한 공항 출발시간을 제안해 줍니다. 모든 룸타입에서 조식은 기본으로 포함되어 있는 것 같으며, 조식의 상태 매우 훌륭했습니다. 그리고 가장 중요한 객식....약 30sqm 정도되는 객실이고, 작지만 정말 깔끔합니다. 매우 깔끔합니다. 그리고 객실에 에스프레소 머신이 비치되어 있어, 언제든 커피를 마실 수 있었으며, 물도 하루 2병이 무료입니다. (일반적으로 MALE는 물가수준이 비싸 거의 모든 제품사용에 대하여, Charge 했던 것에 비하여 본 호텔은 매우 훌륭한 서비스를 제공하였습니다.) 단....욕실용품 중 칫솔을 제공하지 않으니, 별도로 칫솔을 구매하지 않으시려면 반드시 칫솔을 챙겨가시길 추천함) 저는 사업상 방문을 한터라 본 호텔에서 3박을 하였는데, 정말 직원들을 Care를 받으며 안전하게 지내고 있구나라는 생각을들게 할 정도로, 직원들의 서비스가 우수하였음

Property was clean & convenient. Perfect for a quick stay until you head to your resort. Hot water lasted like 10mins then was gone. Check-in was efficient and quick. Our flight arrived in Male past the time for the seaplane to take us to our resort so we have to look for a hotel to spend a night at Male. We came across this hotel on Expedia saw pretty good reviews and it's close to the airport so we decided to stay there. That was a great decision because we have a wonderful experience with this hotel from booking through check-out. They communicate well upfront to obtain our arrival information and they have someone waiting for us at the airport once we clear through custom and took us to our hotel. We get a glimpse of Male on our ride to the airport. The check in was smooth and they brought our luggage to our rooms. The next morning, there was free buffet breakfast for us to enjoy before someone at the hotel take us back to the hotel and they make sure they take us to the counter to meet with people from our resort before they left. I highly recommend anyone who's just doing a quick transit at Male as the customer service we received was superb and everyone there was so friendly. If we ever go back to Maldives and have to spend a night at Male, we'll definitely go back to Somerset Hotel.
