Lovely stay in the area of Ammoudara. Johannes is lovely and accommodating, answering all our questions about how to get to Heraklion and also how to get to Chania. The pool is lovely and the hotel having access to the beach is wonderful - I would stay again.

The owner of the property and all the staff were amazing, very professional and helpful. The place was near the beach, very clean and suitable to people who need peace and quiet. Easy access to the city centre and airport, one only need to walk five minutes and get onto a bus. We like as well the supermarket and restaurants nearby.

I stayed here for a week in summer 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The room had beautiful panoramic sea views, and the beach was just a minute’s walk away. The staff were always kind and welcoming, and having parking at the hotel was very convenient since we rented a car. It’s also only a 5-minute drive from the center of Heraklion, which made it easy to explore. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back on my next trip to Crete!

They were so nice and welcoming!! They helped me a lot when I needed help and I’m thankful for that! It was nice that they had a pool and a small but nice breakfast! And the beach is one minute walk away which was also nice! The AC worked great in the room! They also order a taxi if you need one! And a great restaurant is close by also a big supermarket ! A perfect stay on Crete

My son and daughter and I had an amazing stay here. The hotel might be old but it is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were looked after brilliantly and treated like family rather than guests. We could easily walk to a range of really good bars and restaurants and there is a massive supermarket five minutes walk away. Loved it.

My stay at Hotel Tsagarakis was fantastic. The owner is exceptionally friendly, kind, and helpful. The rooms were spotless, with fresh sheets and towels provided daily. The property features a beautiful pool and direct beach access. It's perfectly located, peaceful, yet within walking distance or a short public transit ride to livelier, tourist-friendly areas. They offer a traditional Greek breakfast and a kitchen for preparing other meals. The staff truly go above and beyond. I’d gladly return, it was a wonderful and authentic Greek experience.

What a wonderful hotel this is! We extended our stay as we were so relaxed and comfortable. The owner is very kind and wants people to be happy. The location is excellent - a short stroll to a wonderful beach for a quick swim before breakfast, and convenient to walk to a range of excellent restaurants.
