"The property is only half finished. It is 5star accommodation on a building site. Luciano who was the main man there could not have been more generous with his time and hospitality, and he turned what might have been an average stay into a pleasant stay. The roads or should I say dust tracks to get to the property are interesting and we had great times on the quad bikes scooting around on them. Ponto de Ouro was a fascinating place. "This was a beautiful location. Hard to get to... 3 hours drive from Maputo and you basically have to hire a driver. The staff was warm and lovely and always wanting to help make the vacation ideal. I was 1 of 6 guests for a couple of nights - and it was incredibly peaceful. be prepared for a serious dose of relaxing as it's 45 min to other more happening beach areas. I did not try the water activities as it was out of season/quite cold in June. I'd say the only disappointment was the "all...
