The view is fantastic. The amenities and options that the booklet in the room says are available are not. The restaurant is closed. The buffet breakfast doesn’t exist. The toaster was filthy. The beds are well past their use by date.Lumoy and big dips. The fire extinguisher is out of date, last check on it done 2015.

Fridge had not been cleaned, spilt and used milk left in it. The curtains were hanging off the runners. The bath has seen better days and should be replaced. Quaint bedding... The location is great and the views of the lake and surrounding mountains are fantastic, but the accommodation needs much updating. No cutlery and plates, though toaster provided.

This place is very dated and really needs an upgrade. Bed was comfortable, no microwave in the room to do any food. There was a shared kitchen but did not use as didn’t look great. The Church bar and restaurant down the road was brilliant, so worth a visit and want some good food.

Bed wasn't comfortable, water pressure in shower was terrible, shower curtain was moldy, chair on balcony was broken, parking was terrible. I would prefer to sleep in my car. The view and location was excellent. They should bulldoze the place and rebuild.

Small and pokey. The bathroom was in one oif the bedrooms. The attached bar had over-priced and sub standard food.

Don’t know where to start. Room was bad bed was bad bathroom was bad. Not clean and we stayed 2 days and our room was not looked at. No clean towel made up bed or anything. Positive was the view over the lake that was stunning.

The hotel was expensive for the condition. The rooms were 'vintage'. No water pressure. Items from the last guest were still in the room. The mattresses were not comfortable. The staff was nice enough. The hotel is very near the lake.

Had to ask reception to empty the bathroom bin!! Not a good start! Slip mat in the bath (for the shower) hadn’t been lifted in a while. Staff at reception not at all apologetic. Expedia site said there was a microwave in the room - it was 100m away in an outside kitchen. No air conditioning so had to leave the patio doors open (ground floor) for ventilation. The duvet was dirty.

Seems to be under new management. We stayed for two nights. After a day of touristing we returned to the room to find it had not been serviced the front desk staff wete surprised that we had expected the room to be made up. Honestly we would have been satisfied with just more tea, coffee and milk. Which was all that was offered.

Mid century style motel. Room was clean but not shining clean. Bed comfy but a little elderly. Internet sometimes fast, sometimes slow. Amazing lake views and relatively easy parking. Solid four stars. note: If you want the room serviced make sure you put out the sign otherwise they won’t even touch the room till checkout.

This place was a dump. The most expensive place I've stayed in for 10 days and it was so gross that i didn't even shower. Take some of that money and redecorate your rooms.

The area around the motel rooms was so run down we felt unsafe. We went to our room and took back the key and left. The money we paid was for a 3 star motel and i think it was 1 star. The view was beautiful though. The photos online are misleading.

Could not read our room instruction manual as it was in Chinese. Toaster set off fire alarm and no-one came to help, managed to turn it off myself tho it kept beeping every minute. Went to reception and told the guy at the desk, he said he would sought it out. 1.5hrs later he came to our room to look at it, I had already soughted it out by the because it was getting non my nerves. Put a ‘do not disturb’ sign on our door when we went out for the day because we didn’t want our room cleaned or gone into. Came back later that day and our room have been cleaned, found this very unsettling. Booked the room because it had a bath, could use it tho because it didn’t have a bath plug. Went to ask for one however no-one was at reception, felt like an old ghost hotel reception. Everything was rundown and tired. Best thing: The view from our room was amazing looked out across the lake to the mountains; good internet as well. Worth a one night stay,

What’s great about the property is its proximity to departure for Doubtful sound. However as someone who travels frequently for work I was unimpressed with the venue. There was no form of cooling provided in the room, only 2 small windows, only 2 old pillows and a very worn mattress for 2 adults paying a significant premium. On the plus side the tv worked well with good clear reception, and the shower had good water pressure and hot water. The location was nice and quiet

In desperate need of an upgrade! And the cleanliness of the communal kitchen and room bathroom have a lot to be desired. The cooker barely worked as did the extra hot plates. I will not be staying there again.

It is better off to sleep in your car and access shared services somewhere else rather than staying here, The other unfortunate part is advertised on Expedia so this is i not good for the reputation. Will think twice before using Expedia again. The refundable option is lies, I was told by you that the said room is not available , however when we checked in we were the lower grade room , how was this possible. No microwave, shabby room and you did not help and just said sorry.

The view from the room was spectacular. Unfortunately the property came up short of what i would expect for the price. Property was dated and run down. Bar/ cafe meals were quick and easy items - which is fine, but the quality of the neals was very poor.

The views are stunning. Park outside the front door. You can sit outside. Bathroom a bit tired. A bit overpriced but that could be the time of year or late booking.
