Beautiful boutique style hotel but no elevator, when they say first floor they mean second for us Americans! Some staff speak English and are welcoming. Location is remote but nearby town is a short drive away, also close to the Saturnia Falls.

This resort is beautiful and intimate. The restaurant is amazing. Mama is a WONDERFUL cook. It is family run and everyone in the family is visible and approachable and very focused on their guests truly enjoying themselves. It’s a short drive from the Saturnia Hot Springs, Manciano, and Montemerano. All beautiful places to visit. The wine was tasty but the OLIVE OIL was the real star for me.

This was a lovely resort in a nice quiet area. The room was cosy and beautifully decorated and the hotel and property itself was quite beautiful. We were not able to get a reservation for dinner unfortunately for the one night it was open during our stay, booking ahead is recommended. We were able to drive into a nearby town for a great dinner but would have preferred to eat and drink wine at the resort. Lovey destination in beautifully Italy countryside.

Acquaviva is designed for a very specific type of traveler. Unless you plan to rent a car, it will be difficult to get to due to unlimited and unreliable public transport. Overall I did have a great experience and would stay with this host again. There’s an elegance and charm about the location, the staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was top quality and plentiful.

Scenic hotel in a beautiful query, quiet in March

Beautiful grounds and environment, very idillic and scenic. We were able to catch a stunning sunset on the first night. However, the sunrise was blocked by a hill. The breakfast was decent with a good selection. The staff was friendly. We came in late March, so the grapevines were just stubs. Also, their Michelin restaurant was closed so we had to drive out to get dinner. Also none of the wine tours had started yet, and there were no free wine in the rooms (although you can purchase bottles)

This is truly a gorgeous place to stay, and I would highly recommend that you stay here. The pictures they have online truly don't do it justice. It is a picturesque resort and such a wonderful place to stay. As you drive up to the resort, the road is lined with these beautiful trees, and the whole property is surrounded by acres and acres of grape vines for the winery. They graciously upgraded my wife and I to a superior room for free, and were so kind and helpful. We ate at a delicious restaurant in nearby Montemerano called La Cascia. The breakfast at the resort was totally first class, and the food was absolutely delicious. I wish that we could have stayed here for several days, so that we could really enjoy all that the area had to offer.

Beautiful property.. great service.. excellent dining experience. Only wished the AC would have worked better. We unfortunately left it on to have dinner two hours later it was still warm in the room. The owner instructed how to work the unit but it never got cold enough. Slept with the windows opened and enjoyed hearing the birds singing in the morning.

Beautiful, Clean, & Relaxing Villa, Great Service

A wonderful property to relax and enjoy nature, and of course, the wine! Owned and operated by a family. The staff are very friendly and helpful with great recommendations and services. Breakfast was included and bountiful, tasty, with good choices. The grounds are beautiful and you have full access to roam. The views of the Tuscan hills are breathtaking everywhere you look! The pool is clean and inviting, wonderfully refreshing. The restaurant on site is a must. Delicious cuisine and very good service. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The town of Saturnia is close and a nice place to spend an afternoon/evening. Don’t forget about the hot springs near by. They are unique and relaxing. We will be back! We loved it! Highly recommended.

First I want to talk about service, we thought check-in was until 11p as stated on Expedia. But that information was wrong, regardless the hotel staff Gemma reached out to us before closing asking our arrival time. Because we were arriving after check in she made all the arrangements for us to be able to get into the property. This kind of service is priceless and we are very grateful for it. The property itself is beautiful, our room was clean, bed and pillows were comfortable and morning breakfast was good. The property grounds are beautiful. 10 minute drive to Saturnian hot springs.

This place is a diamond, but it’s quite a drive to get to. If you’re going to stay here you have to get a patio room and you have to go to the hot springs. It will change your life! The breakfast is amazing too! This part of our Italy adventure was our absolute favorite xxxooo
