Short stay in Mandalay

I had a few days in Mandalay. This hotel was amazing. It was extremely comfortable and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful and it was always a pleasure to return to a warm welcome. The location was ideal with many nice restaurants nearby. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Det beste med dette hotellet er lokasjonen. Det ligger rett ved togbanestasjonen og i hjertet av sentrum. Vi bodde der bare en kveld så vi har ikke så mye å si om maten og renholdet. Hotellet er helt greit innredet, men noget gammelt. Servicen er veldig bra og personellet veldig hyggelig.

Buen Hotel, zona super segura.

El hotel está situado en frente a la estación de trenes, lo que hace que sea muy facil de explicar a los tuc tuc si te tienen que llevar al hotel. El desayuno es bueno. El único problema es el poquísimo inglés que maneja el personal (que es muy amable), lo que impide que te expliquen cualquier cosa respecto de la ciudad.

Central location in Mandalay

The location of the hotel is quite good and there are nearby shopping centres and small stores. I was fortunate to get an upgrade to get a very large room indeed.

Had a great stay at this Hotel

Room was very spacious and the furnitures were pretty new. The bed was so comfortable and clean. Wifi wasn't the best, but had to make-do with that. The only think I did not like was a very loud noise in the morning that probably came from the nearby "Mandalay Station." I would definitely check in to this hotel again in the future.

Gutes Hotel direkt in der Innenstadt

Das Hotel liegt in der Innenstadt direkt am Bahnhof. Durch die Doppelfenster bekommt man vom Straßenlärm wenig mit. Ausstattung und Service sind gut. Das Frühstück wird auf der Dachterrasse serviert, von der man einen guten Überblick über die Stadt hat. Das Personal hilft gern bei Ausflügen. Die Karten für die Bootsfahrt nach Bagan wurden zuverlässig durch die Rezeption besorgt.

マンダレー駅の真正面に位置するホテルで鉄道の移動をされる方は便利だと思います。 室内は2012年の建築年数にしては古さが否めず水回りは一層古い感じがしました。広さは十分すぎる広さです。シャワーの水圧は寂しいです。お湯が出るまで10分以上かかりました。次回利用するかと聞かれれば・・・・・

We used Shwe Ingyinn as a transitory stop on our way from Cambodia to the Bagan Valley in Myanmar. It was knowing that our stays were brief that didn't have us look for another hotel in Mandalay. If we had been staying more than a day at a time, we would have looked elsewhere. My wife and I talked and we just got the sense that the staff, although very friendly either had little to no hotel management experience or were just way in over their collective head. Our first night there we discovered we had no hot water for morning showers. On our way back through town our room's TV didn't work and the WiFi access for our floor didn't work. Not slow WiFi, which I would understand giving what I would assume is limited bandwidth, but the inability to give us a password that would log us in. All beds are much firmer in Asia, but Swearngin (we started calling it that after out favorite character from Deadwood) set the bar for hardest beds on our trip. When we went up to the restaurant for dinner, the first bad sign was that none else was there. The host asked if we would like to dine at there rooftop bar, which sounded good, so we made our way up to the roof, where we were promptly told by the bartender that dinner is not served on the roof. So back down we go. We order and with no one else in the restaurant, it takes close to 45 minutes to get our food. We wondered later if the delay was defrosting the food. Again, the people were nice and wanted to help, but they just seemed like
