Lord Elgin Hotel
Stayed here for 2 nights. Excellent location. Walking distance to Parliament buildings, Sparks Street and Byward Market. Hotel is very clean with wonderful staff. I would stay here again.

Clean room and friendly staff. Fire alarm was pulled twice in one night but the staff were apologetic and gave us late check out and extra coffee.

Residence & Conference Centre - Ottawa West
Be ready to walk a bit, first from the parking to the reception, then from reception to the room. Although shopping was nearby, the walk was back to reception, then around the building to the shopping centre. If you see something missing, ask. The staff are very polite but don't offer.
