"There is no a/c at this property but front desk had a box fan we used. Room very hot upon check-in. There are no windows to open - just a slider onto the balcony. These need screens so the room can cool off. We had that open and the door to the room open to cool it off. Room was clean and sunset from the balcony was amazing. Restaurant was good. Laundry facilities need cleaning and elevator needs a new floor. Staff was great."

"The room was clean as was the lobby and breakfast area. We had a good view of the river. The bed was comfortable. It was quiet and we felt safe. The only problem we had was there is no elevator. I know that was in the description but I missed it. It would have made a difference if I had noticed it when I reserved the room. The other thing that was disappointing was having no three pronged outlets near the bed for plugging in a power strip for multiple charging plugs."

"Our upstairs balcony room was exquisite! It is literally on the Siuslaw River! The view was beautiful with the fog rolling in in the morning and night and then burning off during the day. The historic Siuslaw Bridge is practically a stone's throw away. With that, though, comes the humming of the cars. Even with everything shut, we could still hear a strange sound, which I thought was a ghost. I even made my husband go outside to see what it was. That's when we realized it was the vehicles driving across the metal grates of the draw bridge! Hence there was conveniently a sound/white noise machine placed by the bed. It was lovely to wake up and open the sliding glass doors to see fishermen heading out in their boats and sea otters playing. The breakfast room is small but clean. My husband especially liked the automatic pancake machine! There is also free coffee and tea in the quiant reception area. The ice machine is also conveniently located right outside. There is no elevator, so that is something to consider if you need physical assistance. The hotel is located in the walkable downtown district with cute shops, art galleries, and restaurants. The Wyndham beds and pillows were oh so comfortable, and the best perk of all was the FREE parking!"
