"Hotel has a nice view of the river and Florence. Quiet. Clean. Better breakfast than most but although the made to order omelets were good, they were very greasy. Left quite a coating on the plate. The pool is very nice with a view of the river but secluded so I make my husband go with me. The room was nice with an old time theme but not so functional. Would prefer some actual drawers for clothes rather than cubby holes and wasted shelving for books that are glued down. Convenietly across the bridge from Florence. Check in is always late...don't show up before 4 and don't expect your room will be ready even then. Stairs to most room, no elevator."

"My only issue was that there was no closet to hang my clothes. I had to throw them over a chair. The shower did not shut totally off and we had to contact staff to stop the water."

"This is an exceptionally lovely Motel/ Hotel! It's location, in Old Town allowed me to walk everywhere in Old Town, so no need to deal with driving and hoping for parking in the busy Old Town district. It is exceptionally clean, and thoroughly and beautifully modernized. Enjoyed a super comfortable mattress, and ample lighting options throughout the room. The furnishings are lovely and the staff is unusually friendly and accommodating. I travel extensively, and find the overall quality of this accommodation to be consistent with the much more expensive accommodations I've experienced. I was SO pleasantly surprised and will certainly return."
