"I chose this hotel because it was close to the Port of Rafina, and it was a great place to have a lie in after a long flight then a leisurely walk to the ferry."

"The rooms were clean but looked very dated and worn but the bathroom was decent. Our shower head was broken however, and we had to hold it the whole time while showering which was very inconvenient. None of the activities for kids open until 10am and close at 5:30pm. Dinner does not start until 7:30pm so the 2 hours before dinner are difficult with kids. The pools are nice and seem well maintained. The playground has nice equipment but needs upkeep. The food is very mediocre at both restaurants. We appreciated how seriously allergens were taken and that separate meals and alternative foods were offered for our son with many allergies. The sodas and coffee offered were terrible. It was a nice surprise that there was an alcoholic drink menu included in the all inclusive price and not a separate package but the drinks were very mediocre as well, served in paper cups instead of glasses."

"The staff were wonderful and the hotel location is truly superb but for a five star hotel, we felt that this hotel could be maintained better and have a proper 5 star pool in and outdoors. The spa was a let down for a 5 star hotel. If this hotel was a 4 star I think everything would’ve matched better than it being a 5 star hotel."

"Our stay started out with a friendly greeting from the bellmen and the ease of having someone to manage luggage. The lobby is inviting, calm and smells wonderful. The front desk staff is polite, friendly and professional. The room was clean and well appointed with a Nespresso machine in the room, a perk for me for sure! The shower was hot with great water pressure. Very clean and comfortable. The included breakfast is just wonderful. Fresh fruit and vegetables, hot foods like eggs and sausage, an assortment of pastries, cheeses and yogurt and fresh brewed lattes. We had dinner in the rooftop restaurant and both the service and the food were incredible. The view of the Acropolis is beautiful. This hotel is a quite oasis in the heart of a very busy, noisy Athens."

"The hotel is great as a place to stay. However, we booked two rooms - one king bed and one family room. When we arrived they gave us a king room and a separate connecting room with a door between a double room and a twin room. All good - two rooms as booked, one good as a family room. On checkout though they insisted we pay city tax for three rooms, not two, even though Expedia quoted city tax for just two rooms and no-one had told us they would class the booking as three rooms. The woman on the desk was condescending and unhelpful telling us to look at the terms on the website. Our booking is with Expedia and it clearly says two rooms only. So we’re now trying to get our money back. Very poor service."
