We stayed in the studio unit Of the B&B (it’s really a studio apartment rental in a residential area). Pros: The managers were very nice when we called and stocked our kitchenette with plenty of food to make our own breakfast. The location is nice (only a 10 min walk to all of the restaurants in town) and they are dog friendly (huge plus). Cons: We spotted several large cockroaches and spiders in the room throughout our stay (alive & dead). The apartment is across the street from the forest and that may just be part of the deal, but If you are squeamish about bugs, this may not be the place for you.

Wotif advised that this place had full kitchen, but it didn’t, so communication with the owners is an issue. Nevertheless the hosts were fantastic, letting us use their own washing machine, and providing useful tour and local information. It was quiet, with a magnificent view onto woodlands and very close to town. The Garden room itself was very small and had a few cobwebs, but the breakfast provisions and location more than made up for it.

Dirty ,cramped and outdated

Well if you like mould ,cobwebs and dust this is the place for you not to mention the kitchenete in the cupboard recess with dirty utensils and a bucket to clean your own dishes don’t forget to fill the kettle up next to the toilet!!!! Yes that’s where you poop and wash you pooping hands oh it you like sleeping with slaters bugs come on down! Not a good experience very poor standard for $228 per night very outdated and cramped, it is correctly called the garden room and has a garden deck that’s unusable in the rain and slippery and the car parking is on the street the bugs were that bad we left and didn’t stay our second night.

Breakfast

Breakfast is cereal in boxes, with a few other extras. Internet was low bar at best.

Great little place, rooms were clean. Short walk into town and down to the river.

Margaret River Visit

VERY disappointed. Website stated kitchenette with stovetop in rooms but in Garden Room the kitchen was a cupboard with no stovetop. No where to put clothes. Very expensive for what it was!

Great location & space

Lovely & convenient location. Good kitchenette & nice approach to breakfast - supplying the ingredients for a make your own approach! Great base for a few days tourism in Margaret River.

Great, cosy place. Walking distance to town.

Fantastic location to explore the local region. The place has everything you can ask for, except good internet connection.

Location location location

Great place a short stroll to Margaret River main strip, and more importantly to the lovely river walks. Pet friendly. Brekky included fresh ingredients including Orange juice, free range eggs, lovely bread, milk yoghurt etc. Wake to the sounds of birds. We stayed 4 nights, it was pefect.

Hidden gem.

Great position within walking distance of the town centre. Quiet, clean and perfect for our needs. Owners welcoming and helpful with directions,etc. Accommodation is self-contained and private. Forest nearby gives country feel and yet so close to all amenities.

Convenient location and great setup

The pictures really don't do the place justice, it is a very beautiful and homely place with everything you need for your stay including a little fridge in the room! It was great to have our own patio with table and chairs, and we loved that the room was just opposite the forest, perfect for a morning walk. Steve, the owner, was very helpful and greeted us on arrival, but then gave us our privacy and left his number in case we needed him for anything. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back and recommend this place to all our friends!

Very close to the river,10min walk into town.

Very clean and tidy. The bed was so comfortable was very impress. And pets are allow which was awesome so we were able to bring our dog with us.

Nice place close to main strip

Nice accommodation, close to the bush, can hear the birds in the morning. Yet only a short stroll to the main strip.
