The owner refused me to stay because I was with one daughter. So I asked about refund issue and she kept saying that I should talk to expedia. But later expedia told me that I can not get a refund because she didn't agree to do so. I definitely not going to use this facility again.

Mr Han and his extended family were not allowed to stay at our guesthouse He booked a room for 2 adults only, which is the maximum occupancy for the room in our adult only guesthouse. He knew this when he arrived. It is in our terms and conditions he received when he booked the room see below: The Number of Guests should NOT exceed the number stated on the confirmation Notice. This is the reason he didn't get a refund If we had let them stay, it would have made our insurance void.

Ok for one or two nights, but very small for a longer stay. Very steep and narrow staircase to access rooms, would not be easy for anyone carrying large luggage or elderly or with mobility issues.

Great location within walking to the Jetty and very good restaurants and bars. Small kitchen area with limited continental breakfast. Excellent staff willing to help whenever possible.

Digital access made the check in easy. We phoned through for access as I did not get the check in email and everything was resolved very quickly. Information was good and thoughtful supplies were handy!

I like the convenience of this property that it is a walking distance to Busselton Jetty and Busselton town. The property is also accessible. The only thing was check in was not too smooth as I had not received any details or information regarding checking into the property where I then had to call the manager to walk me through the process.

Ok..
Quite nice. The balcony area upstairs is nice to sit for a drink. The location is really good, close to both the town/ restaurants/ shops as well as the beach. The room we had was really small and unfortunately the drinking glasses in the room were dirty so we needed to wash them before use. Breakfast was supplied which is always a bonus. Its very close to neighbours and across the road to the camp ground so a bit noisy.

When I checked in late in the evening, someone else was in the room, giving us both a terrible fright. Had to call the afterhours number then knock back on the door again to check what name the other people were booked under. They were in the wrong room. Unsure how this happened as I had the correct door code, was told perhaps the cleaner let them in. It was very embarrassing for me even though I had not done anything wrong. I ended up taking the room they should have had, but felt quite unsettled the whole night as I was worried someone might barge in on me! Breakfast was very basic and the room was cramped without any space between the tables. Of course the people I'd walked in on last night came down at the same time and I was too mortified to stay for breakfast with them sitting right next to me. The property is lovely and the room was pleasant and clean, but it was not a very nice experience I'm sorry to say. The manager person was apologetic but there was no offer of compensation for the mistake, which would have been appreciated.

The keyless entry is a big inconvenience to most guests cos we spoke to the other guests n they had the same problem. The stairs too pose a problem for elderly n people with heavy suitcases.

Fabulous place only 5 large rooms. Great little airy breakfast dining room which was self serve & included in the price with coffee machines, cereal, toast, crumpets, various coffees, youlghurt, juice & fruit! Lovely way to start the day & 5 mins walk to the amazing Busselton jetty! 😁 would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately no email was sent with a key code to gain access to our room. So I had to ring the number for help. Took an hour for us to gain acces to our room via the key box. Once in the guest house it was clean, tidy and thoughtfully supplied with everything you need and more. Breakfast was a great bonus too.

Booked through a third party and then received no less than 9 follow up emails ! Due to that volume of correspondence I then managed to miss the advice about the lock box code and our Room No. Ended up in the wrong room which was quickly resolved but a little embarrassing for us. It would help if the Rooms were either by number or by name..... not both. That said it was very pleasant but all too short stay. Would we stay at Observatory again, most definitely.

The location is close to the jetty and also the restaurants and numerous supermarkets. The surrounding is tranquil and relaxing. Hotel staff are extremely helpful.

We stayed in the apartment and it was lovely. The area adjoining bedroom could be reconfigured to make it a more functional sleeping area to allow families or groups of friends to also enjoy the space. Walls are thin, thank you for providing earplugs! Overall, it was lovely. Thank you.
