"For a while I have been making reservations at the cheapest, sketchiest hotels or motels I can just to see how bad they are. THIS IS NOT THE WORST. There were problems; the light/fan in the bathroom sounded BAD. The wire was pulled out of the phone. There was no bulb in the wall fixture. The smoke alarm did not work at all. I had to jiggle the handle on the toilet to get it to stop running after flushing. It seems that places no longer put alarm clocks in the rooms; this one did. The room looked NOTHING like the room pictures online. There was no temperature control in the room and the first night it was quite warm. I had trouble checking in as the "guy" they had to call hadn't checked online reservations for a couple of days and so they had no idea I was coming; they could have easily rented the room out that I had reserved. Like I said, not the worst I've ever been; not even close. It's more of a $45/night place than a $55/night place, but... OK."

"The pool was atrocious. The chemicals were so strong that the kids could only be in the pool a few minutes. And the chemicals were so strong you could only sit in the room a few minutes before your eyes started to burn. Very frustrating since the kids were so excited to go and be able to swim after a busy day."

"The room was clean the staff was good not to happy that i had no tv for my 2 day stay was told it would be fixed and if it was unable to be fixed i would be moved to a new room neither of thoes happened was not happy myself but dealing with three unhappy kids was not my idea of a nice get away "
