The hotel did experience water issues which was due to the water company not sending water to the entire area for weeks. Because the hotel is only accessible by boat, we were the most affected by this due to how water is pumped across to the hotel. This is 1st time we faced a situation this bad.However, we do have holding tanks at the property as a back up.We exhausted our water back up system because the water company could not restore the main lines due to their own issues that they were facing. We transparent with all guests as to what was happening and gave our best efforts to make everyone as comfortable as possible.Some were understanding and other were not.The room that was given to you for a shower was not used by others.We kept our word with the promise of a refund. We even confirmed this with the agency that you booked with.If you have not received your refund then you need to check with the agency as they are in possession of the funds.We do understand that your stay was not ideal and we do apologize again for this unexpected situation.

I would 1st like to apologize for the inconveniences caused during your stay.A hotel would not be able to function or even stay open without water for 4 days.We did have interruptions with water due to the island's water supply undergoing repairs.There is a gym and a spa on property.Appointment must be made for the spa.Keys for the gym is collected at the office.While we no longer have a dive shop on property, diving is still an option for all guest.we provide as much information as we can upon arrival and a front desk agent is always available to assist with questions.

We would be out of business as a hotel if we were not able to provide running water for 10 days. There were interruptions in the water supply due to major work by the water supplier for the island.We do have back up systems however they can only last for so long without being able to replenish from the supplier.Lower rooms are available for person with mobility issues.

Thank you for your review.As a hotel we have realized that there is guest who will love the hotel, and some will not be due to preferences.One thing we can say is that an effort is always made on the staff part as well a management to address any issues and resolve them before a guest leaves.You did meet with management to address your concerns and was satisfied with the outcome. There are things that are beyond the control of the hotel when it comes to outside factors however, we advise all guest on the area and surroundings.

This review is indeed a surprising one and we will take opportunity to address and correct the statements made here as the picture being painted is not accurate.Dive ShopThe dive is no longer on our property however it is still near by and diving is still possible.KitchenIn St Lucia, our stoves use gas hob and matches unlike modern UK or the US however you did not mention having difficulty with this.All cooking utensils are provided and located in the cupboard and draws. Most people in our experience do not open all cupboards and draws. PoolWith every hotel, maintenance must be done which includes the pool and this was the reason for the closure of the pool for 2 days. Looks like the real issue was the size which is not tiny. We are small resort and the size of the pool in keeping with this.Pool tablesFunctional and has no issues.InternetThe router is located inside your room so it is highly impossible to receive WIFI in the balcony and not your room.You may have been trying to connect to another wifi and not the one in your room.ShowerNever reported an issue.Office.Office hours are from 8am - 10pm daily which means that it is highly unlikely that you visited the office on many occasions and no one was present.Your booking.this was corrected and an apology was given right away and upon check out.The FerryThis runs back and forth throughout the day.
