"Very noisy first night with people screaming and running in and out of rooms. On return second day found our room door left open. Hotel were apologetic but we left early and moved to another hotel."
"Great stay overall for the price during spring break. However, there were three things that prevented me from giving this place five stars. The first thing was the valet. We pulled in only to find out that they weren't doing valet and we had to park at the very top of the parking garage. Other hotels around us were all doing vallet so I thought that was a little odd. Second thing was the breakfast. 23 bucks for the buffet that was extremely mediocre was unacceptable. Lastly, in our bathroom there was a pretty strong sewer smell that just lingered for the both nights. Don't know if that was just a city of San Antonio thing or if it was isolated to just our hotel. In regards to the staff they were fantastic and the cleaning staff was amazing! We had an issue in our room that needed to be cleaned up and they were up there immediately 🙏
All in all, we had a good time and will definitely consider it on our next visit to San Antonio Riverwalk. "
"Great location directly on the river walk, yet plenty of quiet areas on the property. All of the staff members were exceptionally courteous and helpful!"
"Fantastic location right on the Riverwalk. No steps or elevator, just step out the back doors of the hotel directly onto the Riverwalk. The Ambler restaurant at the hotel has outdoor tables to watch the other tourists go by. "
