“Nice comfortable room for an overnight stay with the dogs”

“I recently stayed here for a training event. The facilities were generally ok and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good. Some parts of the property do feel a bit dated and could benefit from some refurbishment. The main issue I had was with the shower in my room, which had no cold water at all and was boiling hot. Unfortunately, I only discovered this in the morning, so there wasn’t really time for it to be fixed before I had to leave.”

“The hotel was reasonable priced and set in stunning grounds. My room was clean and comfortable. Nice to be able to use the pool at no extra cost. I would consider staying here again and would recommend. ”

“Parking was very easy and staff were amazing. Only thing I would comment on is the room we were in was looking a bit tired and was in need of a deep clean a lot of dust in higher up places and the breakfast should have more options.”

“Average stay, had always heard good things about hawkstone but unfortunately it needs a fair amount of work doing to the hotel grounds and exterior to compliment the interior. The ‘driving range’ ball dispenser was broken and dispensed just a handful of broken and poor quality balls, the mats and baskets were broken and generally the place just looked unkempt (appreciate this is a golf club issue). The room was comfortable and clean but breakfast was over priced at £18 each for a limited cooked...

“Hotel and rooms need a lot of TLC, water takes a while to heat up and when it does the pressure in the shower is awful. Pool wasnt bad but there were no spa appointments avaliable depsite having a membership. And the junior suite dosent look like the photos. Ended up makkng a complaint andnit was rectified but still not happy with my stay. Wasnt worth the money I paid. ”

“I never feel disappointed at this hotel. The beds are comfortable and the breakfasts are fantastic with an excellent range of dishes. The lockers in the spa do need some attention though and the sauna in the ladies’ changing room has no internal handle. The staff are very friendly and attentive. It remains really good value for a stopover ”
