Marlborough Hospital Tours

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay in when visiting Boston. The rooms are comfortable. I was in a larger room this time which was nice. The staff is very helpful and ready to answer questions. Because I travel often I do tend to get a bit picky on where I stay. Though there were minor issues (hot small gym in the basement and sockets in my bathroom were not functioning) this hotel is still one of the better places to stay for the price.

A very good location, hotel is in good condition, housekeeping is top-notch, rooms are good size. Two things made us want to leave, though: - The sound insulation is non-existent, extremely loud at night, impossible to sleep - The kitchen in the restaurant and the bar closes extremely early, effectively you can’t have anything to eat at 9PM. The staff at the restaurant were pretty rude about it, too. So, if you are visiting from West Coast - pack snacks, I guess…

Great location, 20 minute walk or less to most historical sights and close to 3 metro lines. Also just a few minutes walk to Boston Commons and tons of restaurants and shops in the area. The hotel lobby and my room were clean and well maintained. I could have used a little more light in my room, but it didn’t really matter since I wasn’t in the room much beyond sleeping. But if I had needed to do work in my room, the lighting might have been difficult, and might explain why I saw people working every morning in the coffee shop next door. Free bottled water and free snacks in the room were an unexpected bonus.
