The view was absolutely beautiful, and the room was very clean! The only suggestion I have would be to offer assigned parking, as it would make the stay even more convenient. Overall, we had a great experience!

Had a great stay here. It's an older motel, but well maintained. Room was clean, area was quiet and can't beat the view looking at the bay. Our room, on 2nd floor, had a good layout. Kitchen and tv area had a good seperation from the bedroom. Appreciated having the chairs and tables by the water to enjoy the view and have a snack.

I think we were visiting early in the season for them. A couple lightbulbs were out, but they changed them while we went to dinner. Grab and go breakfast is pretty basic, but fine. Pull out bed was ok for kids, but adults probably would be uncomfortable. Main beds were great.

This is a mid century Schitts creek type motel. I mean that in the best way possible. Not for the Beougie! But it is awesome. Rooms are clean and well taken care of. This place is literally right on Lake Superior! The price was fantastic and there were chairs and picnic tables right there to watch the sunset. Which in and of itself was worth the price of admission. The outside doors and common area create a little sense of old school community. Creature comforts yes, but prima donna not so much. Plus shuffle board! We had so much fun and it is right next to downtown Munising.

The view of the bay from our room was AMAZING!!! Our room was also very clean. We had the room with a balcony and a king-sized bed. The mini-fridge was bigger than I expected. The coffee pot was a four-cup drip-style. The microwave was small but worked well. As a motel, it is nice; it needs a little updating, but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay. They are dog-friendly... which is a huge plus for us. The common area had a lawn with nice grass, public charcoal grills, chairs, tables, and free ice. If you are noise-sensitive, be aware that there is a commercial facility down the road that you can hear the low hum of the machinery.

Clean room, but oddly crowded. Narrow spaces to navigate in room (2 beds) and in shower area. It was comfortable, but many noises throughout the night, included the sound of water dripping (slow to rapid, then stop for a bit, then repeat) coming from ceiling it seemed. Maybe refrigerator noise? who knows. But it kept one of us up a bit. Some loud clunks as well -- may have been screen doors from other units, but it seemed odd.

I do not recommend the Sunset room/house. I was happy to find a place that gave me and my two teenagers room to spread out for two nights. Unfortunately the building is falling apart. Only half the lights work and the ones that do work flicker. The paint is falling off the walls in sheets. The exterior door let in water. The windows are unusable because the screens are all broken. The blinds are broken. It smells bad and dirty. There is no AC in one of the bedrooms. The flooring is uneven. The ceilings have water stains. Only half the water comes out of the shower head, the rest keeps flowing from the faucet. The whole place is rundown. I was expecting old and quaint, but we got a place that is ready to be torn down. In addition the breakfast is barely continental. Packaged muffins, yogurt cups and cheese sticks. The staff were not friendly. The positives include comfortable beds and the kitchen was clean and the area is quiet. The washer/dryer worked and Wi-Fi worked well.
