“This is a charming hotel. The room was comfortable, and all the staff were helpful and friendly. We had a Deluxe room with a balcony. The view from the balcony was delightful. It overlooked the Piazza Fontana and then across the Ponte di Porta Napoli toward the train station. The hotel's location is excellent for exploring the historic section of Taranto. ”

“To be fair, I am reviewing the Akropolis Hotel because that’s where I stayed. When I got to San Andrea Degli Armeni, there was no one there, but a sign there had a phone number to call. The person said to come to the Akropolis Hotel which was just a short walk. Apparently they are sister hotels and my reservation was switched but because I booked on hotels.com they staff couldn’t reach me. No big deal, as it was close by.
