“Fabulous river frontage My husband tried unsuccessfully to land some fair sized trout. Cottage very comfortable with fireplace and heaters. Had Sabie trout in the restuarant which was excellent. Perfect base for visiting all the local sites and hikes. Will go back again. Staff discreet and efficient. Sadly, my offer to buy life rights to the cottage as a retirement home was rejected. Ah well….”

“Que lugar maravilhoso! Logo na chegada fomos recepcionados por 3 cães carinhosos e amistosos. Logo em seguida, Lin (a proprietária) veio nos receber com um largo sorriso no rosto. Como é bom, depois de 5 horaa de estrada, chegar e ter toda a atenção. Feito o check-in, Lin nos mostrou o chalé que ficaríamos e nos deu todas as explicações necessárias para uma ótima estadia. E por falar no chalé, ele superou todas as expectativas, com ótimas camas, aquecimento dos ambientes, espaços amplos...

“Very nice lodge located on a big farm where you can go hiking, mountain biking or just enjoy the facilities (tennis, mini-golf, heated pools, etc..). ”

“We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there...

“OK ish to stay with dogs. However the road to get to the property is terrible terrible terrible. We slipped off the Provincial sand road due to mud. However the real challenge is to get to the farm house. Not fun at all especially when wet. We won't visit again because of challenges to get to the property. Real pity. ”

“Di facile localizzazione, è una vasta area recintata con diversi bungalow tondi col tetto in paglia o mini abitazioni. Le ho provate entrambe. Pulizia e condizioni generali nella norma. Le unità più vicine alla strada risentono del passaggio dei veicoli e sono poco tranquille. È presente una piscina con l'acqua torbida, non si vedono i piedi quando sei in piscina. Al mio arrivo mi volevano fare pagare di più perché dicevano che avevo pagato poco .... cosa dire ... rifiutare con fermezza e tutto...
