Highly recommend visiting Canigao Island and spending a night on the island. No Airbnbโ€™s...just tents and open cottages! *must be open to sleeping with ants all over you* lol.
Canigao Island is a tourist development outside town in Matalom. By development they mean there's a scheduled boat to take people there and that there are restrooms. The beaches are white sand and the water stays clear and shallow a long way out. We went during the week are were the only ones on the island, though it's a popular place on weekends.
