This was my first hotel in Zanzibar and I would return in heartbeat to stay longer. The aesthetic was relaxing, the owners were present and enjoyable to visit with. The food was DELICIOUS!! Deluxe Apartment Sea Facing- 10/10. Clean. Great size. Quiet. Excellent view. First floor, so avoided noisy neighbours above us. Decent, but small safe. A/C worked well. Bathroom - 10/10. Clean. Beautiful view. Very peaceful. Staff and servers were very friendly and provided excellent service. The food was very good, including the breakfast which was complementary. We really enjoyed their Beach Bar and the music. One night, the servers danced with us and we had a really fun time. I celebrated my honeymoon on June 8th at Lux and was thoroughly impressed with the experience. In fact, I plan to return next year at the same time. I hope to see Grace, who works at the reception. I have been to many countries, and the stay here was my son's favorite vacation! We had a room with ocean veiw, worth every penny! the beauty of the island greeted us every morning. At first I would like to thank a lot to manager Lukas, who was very helpful and let us have a very late checkout for no extra fee (due to low season). Hotel is small but so cute, super friendly stuff, clean and nice furnished rooms. There is no air conditioner only the fan, but honestly it is absolutely fine and sufficient. the beach is amazing in both cases - during high tide or low tide. What about the restaurant - I don't think I had better meals anywhere else on island. Really amazing...

The Sevi Hotel was the perfect place to go after 9 days on safari. The beautiful gardens, the pools, the big rooms and comfy beds, the hammock on our deck, made it such a relaxing time. We had 2 fabulous spa treatments and the food is amazing and healthy. The beach scene is non stop entertainment with the locals coming and going. But the best part was the attentive staff. We thought the service at the Kasha was absolutely amazing! The staff was excellent and made sure everything was taken care of from the moment we arrived. Our family of 4 had a wonderful 3 night stay. The rooms were beautiful, beds comfortable, and the air con worked well. Turn down service to spruce up the rooms and set up the mosquito netting is a nice touch. The pavilion has impressive architectural presence which is brilliant planning for covering the pool (so its always a cool temperature), covering 2 the dining areas and the 2 bars. There were always enough lounge chairs covered in comfortable canvas with pillows and a few different options...
