"We had a great stay in Wailea. We were close enough to the beaches without having the chaos of so many tourists. Room was clean, breakfast was a great bonus and staff was friendly."

As one of the highest-ranking luxury beaches in the U.S., this stunning stretch of sand with crystal-clear water is lined with high-end hotels and shops.
Come to ride some of Maui’s huge barrel waves in winter or just watch the professionals from the bluff. In summer, go for a snorkel session or nature hike.
One of the best places in the U.S. to watch the sunrise is this impressive centerpiece of Haleakalā National Park, marking the birthplace of the island of Maui.
Hawaii’s “Magic Isle” is known for its terrific beaches, blue water, abundant marine life, the volcanic Haleakalā National Park, quaint towns and scenic drives.
"They are in the process of renovating and initially I was placed in a king bed pool side room which had not been renovated. It was terrible and reminded me of a tiny cheap nasty motel room which had numerous issues. As a result they upgraded me free of charge to a renovated room which was like night and day in comparison and the reason I’m giving the hotel 5 stars. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The area itself isn’t the best but there are two very close restaurants (Tantes and Bistro Casanova) that provided great food and were reasonably priced."
"We enjoyed having the pool and the beach a few steps away from our room. That was particularly nice given we traveled with our 4 year old daughter. The towel service and outdoor showers also made the beach experience pleasant. I noticed many resorts in Kaanapali are in front of the beach but the beach has little or no sand. This outrigger hotel has a long sandy beach and a relatively short walk from black rock for snorkeling. There are a lot of dining options walking distance and also within a short drive. I was a bit price shocked from Maui prices compra red to Southern California where I come from. Once I got over the price shock I was really happy.
Lastly, this hotel offers daily cultural activities for free! Very knowledgeable and experienced professional facilitators helped us learn about Hawaiian culture. "
