"Unfortunately, there was a strong sewer odor in the room throughout my stay. The smell was very unpleasant and significantly affected the overall comfort of the room. I hope the hotel can address this issue for future guests."
"It was a very nice place. You're in the middle of the rainforest which was kind of cool. We rented the honeymoon suite. It had a nice jetted tub, please know jetted was only big enough for one person. This is on the second floor so you will have to carry your suitcases up about 25 steps. There is a super comfortable king bed with lots of extra blankets. There is a little kitchen area that had tea and coffee available, as well as instant oatmeal, homemade banana bread, packaged ramen, and fresh fruit. Area included microwave, fridge, plates/bowls and utensils. The covered deck was nice place to eat, and relax. We will definitely return on our next trip back to the area."
"Over night stay to visit the volcano. It is a 3 minute drive to the entrance of the park. We were able to go back to our room a couple times making it easy.
The property was very clean and well kept. Definitely recommend it"
"We enjoyed our stay here. My son loved the pool with the beach entry and water slide. We enjoyed walking the trails and garden. I loved the morning yoga. Our room was nice, clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable."
"The room was amazing. I loved the sounds of the birds and frogs. The garden was beautiful and the property well maintained. Even though they say it’s an old house and you might hear people in other rooms, I did not. I never waited for a bathroom to use either. It was a quiet and peaceful stay just 5 minutes outside the park. It was nice having a full kitchen as well. "
"We loved our ocean and pool view lanai! We would have preferred the ocean pool was the “quiet” pool (there are three pools on the property), and the “quiet” pool is next to the pickleball courts.
Within just a few days of our visit we were informed of an additional fee per night for A/C if requested. This information should have been included in the original ad. If it was there, it was buried in the weeds as we didn’t see this upon booking."
