"I stayed here at Motel 6 five days ago while staying at a La Quinta Inn in between those dates. This Motel 6 was far better than the La Quinta. The Motel 6 was cleaner and had items that were obviously maintained, add, the price was half that of La Quinta and the staff was more helpful. When I first arrived at the La Quinta in Redding, I had just completed a 2-day drive covering 800 miles. I was there for my 15-year-old granddaughter's birthday and requested an early access to my room so I could take a shower. It was 1:30pm at the time but check-in was 3:00pm. They told me a room was not available at that time and took my phone number so they could call me when they could. The phone call never came and I checked in at 3:00pm"
