โIt was a pleasant and excellent experience. The room cleanliness was outstanding, the service was outatanding, and the breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend it. โ
โThe Black Hawk Hotel is older, but kept clean comfortable and safe. Unlike some other hotels the Black Hawk did not charge an incidentals amount on my card at check in only to return it later, I appreciated this. The only dissapointment is there is no onsite parking, we got a map showing 24 hour street parking. The closest being a block away.โ
โI had to ask for a different room because it was smelly and the sheets are dirty. The personnel was very kind though to replace the room to a cleaner one.โ
โIt is what is advertised, and that deserves a good rating. The place is very clean and well maintained. I didn't come for frills or a pool, just a clean room for a night.โ
โThe outdoor seating area was marvelous. They were hosting 2-3 large events, the parking lots were overflowing in front but there was disabled parking close enough at a back door. Despite the large parties it was quiet and nice. The parties were held on the opposite side of the hotel. I was impressed. โ
โWe had a king plus sofa bed and it was the nicest room we have ever stayed in. Breakfast was also excellent - lots of selections of hot and cold. โ

Room was ok, had a moldly smell..had a refrigerator no microwave or coffee pot in room.
Towels and sheets were clesn but dingy looking...
The pool had kids in it with no adult supervision..โ
โPet friendly, large and clean rooms, friendly staff and a decent breakfast. It's a good place to stay for the price. A little hard to get to, you go thru a restaurant parking lot. โ
