The location is great- 10 mins to haram gate. Manager showed me room before assigning. I had a double room. Room was dated. Sheets , comforter and towel were clean. Bathroom was a different story . Shower without shower curtains or doors. I need a cheap place to stay near haram and that is what I got

Room with bugs and roaches. Smelly floors, lobby was regularly unmanned. While checkout, the staff was not ready take the baggages on trolley outside hotel gate. We had to take our own baggages outside to the taxi that was parked 50m away as parking is not allowed jn front of hotel. The only good thing about this hotel is the proximity to Haram.

Vacuum cleaner in adjacent rooms was so noisy. The toilet didn’t have curtains not the shower nor at the windows. Towel hanger was broken. No kettle or tea kit was available at the room.

Room is ok. Clean bed. Hot water was working and bathroom was clean. Location is great. few minutes walk from Kaba and shops nearby. However, carpet is very old and dirty. Wifi is very very slow. Also the thermostat is probably 20 years old; hard to adjust room temperature.

Don't be fooled my the good reviews on here place is like living back in 1990s! Haven't been to a more outdated place prior to this. If YOURE AN OVERSEAS TRAVEL PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE. Its 1 star hotel(motel standard compared to USA) idk staff is EXTREMELY RUDE! Bathroom leaks smells no curtain in shower or even any barrier between the toilet and the shower. Like you except people to come here get clean and go pray and your toilet leaks piss/turd all over how is one suppose to be clean? After stying here for 4 days went to Medina came back for a few hours but paid for a whole extra day and told the guy I had to leave at 4am his response was check out at 2am and sit in the lobby until 4am! Safe your money and don't let these guys fool you!

By far this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. very rude and poor customer service. the condition of the rooms are terrible, no shower curtain, they have broken floor squeegee for you to dry the floor after you shower. no iron board, or iron in the entire hotel. I won't stay in it if it is free.

Awful hotel! Customer service is not existent! If it wasn’t for location - they would really have no customers! The staff are extremely rude and arrogant! Rooms very basic and bathroom was dirty and had this awful smell. I only stayed as next to haram which is the only positive. Very disappointed and staff simply did not care. Hotel has potential and They need to upgrade few things and replace staff/management!

This hotel is very Conveniently located near haram. And transportations are right at the door step. So instead of paying very high price for those 5 star clock towers I will recommend this hotel if your sole purpose is to perform Religious duties and come back to the hotel for a good night's sleep and wake up again early to go Do harm for Tahajjud.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and wanted to share our honest experience, especially after reading some mixed reviews before booking. Check-In: Check-in was smooth and quick. No issues at all upon arrival. Location: Excellent location. I’m not sure what people consider “far,” but from the hotel entrance to the entrance of Al Haram it’s about a 7-minute walk very manageable, even with crowds. The area is surrounded by small shops, eateries, and at night the streets come alive with vendors selling very affordable items. Truly convenient for anyone coming for Umrah. Rooms: Yes, the rooms are on the smaller side, but they are practical and efficient. You’re here for worship, not to lounge in the hotel all day, so for us the room worked perfectly. We had enough space for ourselves and our luggage, and it was comfortable throughout our stay. Bathroom: Hot water was always available. Toiletries were provided basic but sufficient and housekeeping happily gave more whenever we asked. My only suggestion to the hotel would be to add a shower curtain or provide a squeegee/mop to help keep the bathroom floor dry after showering. Crowd / Atmosphere: The hotel wasn’t overly crowded at all. We never waited more than a couple minutes for the elevator. Most guests were group tours from Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore), and everyone was very quiet, respectful, and clean. Overall, a pleasant environment.

I stayed there with my family and I was satisfied with my stay at Barakah hotel. Our rooms were clean and stocked with amenities. High speed WiFi available on premises. There are plenty of food options around there. As the hotel is close to Haram, you can offer prayer in the hotel lobby if you are unable to reach to the Haram on time. It was very important for my parents to pray Fajar prayer in congregation from their hotel lobby. The hotel is walking distance from Haram but it's slightly uphill which is difficult for older people to walk. My parents used to go to Haram and stay there for consecutive prayers. One complaint I have is that there is no Adhan sound in the hotel rooms and you don't get to know prayer time if you haven't set an alert on your phone. Overall, I am very happy with my stay and it is highly recommended.
