โLโAntico Pozzo never disappoints. This is our second time staying here, and the only way to see San Gimignano. While the tourist hordes overrun the town, sit in their quiet courtyard and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a bottle of wine, then walk to all of the towns attractions in the evening when the buses have all gone. Matteo was a great host, rooms are clean, comfortable and roomy. Location is tough to beat, just a short walk from the parking outside the city walls. โ
โThis hotel is not family or vacation friendly. This is for a local tourist thatโs traveling with a backpack. There are about 80 stairs to get to your room, so take that into consideration for every time you have to go back to your room. There is also no air conditioning and the owner told us just keep your windows open. That was also not doable with the noise outside and all the birds that would fly inside bc there are no curtains or nets on windows. We went in may-June and it was cool outside...
โThis was one of the best experience I had in Italy. The hotel is a little bit off from what the GPS tells you but not too hard to find. The swimming pool is very clean and beautiflu and the room we had was on the first floor with kitchen, workin closet, bathroom and everything beautifully setup. People were very kind and the whole hotel is managed beautifully with flowers, trees and everything.
I would had willingly spent the whole week in this hotel if I hadn't book for other schedules.

โTop Lage, sehr freundliche Wirtsleute. Ambiente und Ausblick unbezahlbar! In Laufdistanz zur Stadt, d.h. das Auto kann stehenbleiben.
Absolut zu empfehlen!!!โ
โPerfect stay in San Gimiano - thank you! The reception staff are fantastic - polite and very helpful. We loved our balcony
Will be back hopefully for longer โ
